If the crash has injuries, it should have the same damned consequences as leaving the scene of an accident with injury. The number of accidents in these videos which are caused by some idiot doing something stupid but being lucky enough to not be involved in the crash they cause is ridiculous.

Not the brightest of the bunch. You need, in that situation especially, a complete command of stituational awareness! Look around you and you might not get hurt, or you can be stupid and be sure it happens.

Driving licence instruction programmes should include watching *at least* an hour's worth of these sorts of videos. People keep making *exactly the same mistakes* on the road year after year after year. Driving and stopping too close to the vehicle in front. Approaching intersections and bends too fast. Not fitting winter rubber. Lack of awareness of effects of heavy rain. Not looking properly when turning at/crossing intersections. Looking at their phones/in-car media. Nobody seems to want to learn anything.

Why oh why is it soo hard for people to slow down, use the brakes and simply pay attention

The truck driver is at fault here. If you can't stop within the distance you keep from the vehicle in front of you, then you're simply too close.

Hoosiers don't, that's for sure. Stopping for a red light in NW Indiana is optional.

Im seeing a lot of black mustangs in this video and every time im like "DAD IS THAT YOU?!"

What is with Russians? They see someone slowing/ stopping in front of them and their first thought is "go around them"

The higher the prevailing speed, the further down the road you should be looking. People seem to be paying too much attention to the car or two right in front of them, when they should be looking a quarter to a half mile away for situations possibly unfolding, because at 65 mph, you're going to be on top of that situation before you know it and you won't have time to react if you're looking at the car in front of you. Pay attention!

BTW, this is not a new video, just a collection of segments of other channels' videos put together.

1:12 I don't really understand why a truck moves that fast and / or doesn't keep proper distance if its braking distance is that high. I don't think that the first vehicle is responsible for always looking backwards whether there's someone behind. I just don't get the logic.

That first dump truck with the trailer is at fault. He went through a yield sign without yielding. Even so that car is at fault for coming to a complete stop at exit ramp speeds. Trucks can’t stop immediately and the following distance was really good. It would have been far worse if he was closer.

@@fiontanselby4057 That was a merging spot. There's no yield there. The car should not have stopped. He should have sped up to get past the truck. Unfortunately, the truck with the dash cam is at fault because he hit the car. Anytime there's a rear end collision, the person that hits the back of the other vehicle is the one at fault.

This just shows how ppl r impatient and do not pay attention

I see that giving way at intersections wasn’t something many of these guys studied up on 🤔
