Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This week we take two cans of man happiness and put them together. Time to break out the camp deep fryer or artic canteen cup and fry up something great.
As always thank you Floridaboy Bushcraft and Survival and MTWoodsrunner for the whole CCT idea.

I have to try that! Thank you for sharing👍
DAM !!!!! I never thought of using a canteen cup as a mini deep fryer , going to be walking around the house today calling my self a fool and kicking myself in the backside. As far as the extras , On a canoeing/camping/fishing trip in the Everglades 10,000 islands. We caught a good amount of fish , filleted them and fried them , had the normal side dishes. We ate a lot and had a lot left over. When a young couple ( from New York City ) who were camping down the beach ( Picnic Island ) from us. They walked by our camp and before they left they had two paper plates full of fillets , Baked beans and fries to take back to their camp for supper. As My buddy said , we introduced them to Southern ( Everglades National Park ) Hospitality..

Neat memory. I think the US military introduced the world to Spam. This was a fun idea. I need to do it again.
Genius. Beer-battered spam....pure genius. You need to do an on-trail cooking show!!
Great Idea...Gotta try that one!!!..

Oh yes. I ended up enjoying an impromptu bbq at a camp ground one trip. A local fellow was smoking a pig for another local who split it with him in exchange. Awesome camp magic.
The does look like a plate of goodness right there. YUM!

Ginger Ale is a great non alcoholic subsite! It works well in Beer Bread or for Beer Can Chicken also.

@@journeyofbear6423 We were in the Lexington area. One eating place I try to swing by is Jack in the Box (but didn't make it this trip), I love their tacos and egg rolls. Ain't none in GA.
Man oh man I am so hungry after watching this video. You have a very creative cooking style. Yum yum!!!
I have the Arctic canteen and cup but didn't like the cup until now, Thanks great video
hell yeah. eating great there
They make black pepper spam and teriyaki flavored spam and you could wittle some chopsticks to use or even just a crude Y shape fork. That looks really good but spam is too heavy and salty for me. Would be interesting to do with some turkey spam on a sandwich with cheese maybe. The breaded onion petals would be awesome.

The spam is a little heavy. A little goes a long way as they say. Thanks for watching!
Now I know you're a amateur chef. Looking good. Thanks for the idea.

was that a trail or creek bed?...... any videos on what type/kind of knife you pound on and use to split wood, curious if the tang is thicker than normal if it's a full tang and not a folder, I've deep fried spam at home but never on the trail and last curious about the fry oil, to be honest I would have dumped it in a fire pit cool or uncool....I can take it

It was a trail. That trail just holds a lot of water after a rain. I have not really settled on a knife for rougher use. I would not use a folder unless it was an emergency to split wood. At some point the toughest folder will break splitting wood. The knife I'm using in this video is a Gerber Freeman Guide. I'm experimenting with it for a budget general purpose knife for bushcraft / camp duties and camp cooking. It is full tang and thick enough it should take a little abuse. If budget is not a concern I have a friend I camp with that uses and Esee. He beats the heck out of it and it keeps on going. The oil question hmm. My general rule is to practice leave no trace. At least as much as possible. If something will burn to an ash I don't mind burning it. At home I've taken small amounts of cooking oil and soaked a log with it that went onto the fire. I don't like to leave a food source in a fire pit for animals to find. If multiple campers do it we can create nuisance animals. Worst case a bear that someone then has to kill. So my rule is not to leave trash in a fire pit for a future burn. Only burn what will completely burn to and ash. So for me paper packaging is a go but Mountain House bags and cans I pack out. If I to get rid of something biodegradable I'm going to do it away from camp and the trail. I know that is a little long winded maybe I'll do a video talking about it sometime.
I've watched your canteen cup Tuesday's for awhile now and just realized I wasn't subscribed yet. I hit the button for you. If you're into fishing check my channel out. I do fresh and saltwater fishing.
