I think a cool idea for a future record attempt would be biggest Obelisk. It would be interesting to see how you'd continually pivot throughout the run, if you play it safe by staring with high card (maybe pair is safer for emergency 'discards') and progress up through 3/4/5 of a kind and finally Flush Five, or if you go crazy and try to hit ALL the hand types on your way. A 50x or 100x (no idea if either of those are close to realistic) Obelisk would be crazy to see.

One thing making this tough is that bungler is kinda out cuz you need discards. You could use it to pump high card actually... Tricky indeed to build a dexk that can consistently get you all types of hands.

I had watched for 30 min and being like “damn this is some really good progress, so interesting to see all the minute decision points before ante 8” and then looking down and seeing that it’s still ante 3 😂

Deck looks great for 8 antes, excited to see how endless goes! The deck manipulation for Canio is even more interesting to me than the Yorick and Pants records were, which I both also enjoyed

are you saying from the start that this seed is basically 1/250,000 and you are using a tool to zoom through seeds quickly? I guess I don't understand because it feels extremely rare to start with this

In these world record runs, you always need to spend a ton of rounds on generating spectral cards with Sixth Sense. So I do wonder if you would've been better off keeping both Séance and Sixth Sense. Besides, Séance can theoretically (though probably not practically) generate more than one spectral card per round. Finally, with Sixth Sense spectral cards get increasingly hard to generate since it consumes 6s, whereas Séance becomes *easier* to trigger over time.

Why is Violet Vessel only 600k with the plasma deck ? Since plasma is x2 base blinde size and VV x6, shouldn't the blinde be at 1200k ?

This is White stake, where the base value of 100,000 becomes 200,000 at the ante 8 boss, which becomes further tripled with Vessel to 600,000. 1.2m is the amount needed on Gold stake, which you have literally no reason to do anything other than White if you're going for high score runs short of some whackadoodle Madness builds.

It does! It reduces the scoring requirement back down to "normal" boss size (twice the small blind)
