Bivol is pure class, what a breath of fresh air in the sport. Completely honest, humble and dedicated. He just did his job. When asked if he's the best in the division, he said one of the best, if he gets all of the belts then he would be. What a great attitude.

The Judges gifted Canelo a closer fight than really was. Most Unbiased Fight fans had Canelo winning 3 rounds at best. The judges wanted to cheat but new they'd never get away with it since Bivol won so convincingly. INSTEAD, They tried to make it closer. Sad

Disappointed in Canelo to say he thought he never lost the fight, and then started to blame the difference in weight. he was th eone who picked this fight because he thought he could win. He didn't mention weight difference the last time he moved up, because hew won the last time. He lost it by a bigger margin than the judges awarded and everyone knows it. I thought he would have shown more class than that. Bivol, on the contrary, what a likeable and humble man he is. He showed class in and out of the ring.

If Canelo couldn't beat a light heavyweight he could not " dream" of beating a heavier weight. So Canelo should fight Charlo if we was brave enough but he isn't! The judges need to be investigated. Holy shit, how many times do we have to see these people try to ruin boxing. Even casual fans could see the beat down that Bivol administered to Canelo and the judges all score it the same with the first 4 going to Canelo. It is bad for boxing.

What a strong character and strong focus. Fighting against the feared opponent ,doors being closed in the face of his own people, wondering what the spectators were saying in their booing. He remained humble, focussed and respecting

How can this guy be so humble. I'm amaze how he dodge those questions that can leave a negative comment on Canelo. Truly an awesome guy, inside or outside boxing.

A humble man like bivol deserves everything thats coming his way i will root for bivol in his future fights hope bivol gained alot of fans like my self he's a perfect example of what a champion should be ..

I saw this guy years ago and could tell he was the real deal, but he is so cute and sweet...he is making me cry :( He has 180degree opposite personality of what most big time boxers have with all the bravado, confidence and boasting...he is basically avoiding attaching any praise or status to himself that he doesn't think he has justified by results.

Bivol-Canelo 2 will turn out the same way. Bivol will only get better and develop the skills he has proven work so well for him. He definitely is a ring master, an excellent judge of distance and timing, as well as a superb defensive strategist. And when he goes on offense, he piles up the devastation. Canelo should forget about challenging Usyk now.

Or sometimes the translator will translate the LITERAL translation, instead of the ESSENCE of what he’s trying to say and the overall message of what he’s trying to convey - if that makes sense. The only time you should focus on translating the literal verbatim message, is if you’re translating in a court of law or translating in a legal setting, but aside from that, you should always try to capture the essence of what the speaker is trying to say! ✨

idk why you guys mention the extra weight he always rehydrates to 180-190 the difference between bivol and for example, plant, callum smith, BJS is they where afraid to fight and actually try to win + all 3 are pillow punchers, they let canelo go forward and beat them up, Bivol did not, he got beat not cause of weight just got beat by a better boxer with better technique, great defense and power of a natural 175 pounder

The only person who really believes he didn't lose the fight is Canelo himself. I don't consider myself an expert, even though I've been an avid boxing fan for all of 57yrs. I am, as most are a great followerand fan of Canelo and I've admired him since I first saw him back as a young 15yr old. Last night he was outclassed and outfought throughout the fight and I have to be honest, whatever he tried just did not work. I really find it difficult to fairly give Canelo two rounds and just maybe three. This was an absolutely amazing performance by Bivol. What an amazing fighter and respectful human being this lad is. Two great sportsmen and how Canelo can come out with that well used addage by a beaten fighter saddens me a little, because I'm sure he would have been told by his trainers what was needed going into that last round, if the Judges had been honest. There again, if we talk about judges. This is a subject that needs to be attacked and dealt with in the game in general. At the top, or the bottom these athletes put their lives on the line out there and too often today judges leave themselves open to critisism and ruin fighters careers with questionable scoring! GREAT FIGHT!

If he wasn't aware, his corner would have definitely told him what he would have to do to win and clearly he would have had to knock Bivol out. He could not do that. he clearly did not win the last round either! The judges scorecards were a complete travesty and there are many who would say the same. I'm sad Canelo lost, but my friend we can't take anything away from the Bivol immaculate masterclass performance no matter what country he comes from.

Maybe I am right (or who knows ) but this is what I think. I think no one who has a lot of people believing in him/her will admit that he/she lost. Personally, because it is something that they 'owe' to the public. If they accept defeat, they will discourage the public, and not only that, 'one's defeat begins by accepting that s/he lost from the beginning'. Many would say that Canelo is prideful ( and he is), but that also makes him great. He uses pride as a tool to keep going, and without his pride, his career would probably have ended many countless times. As a Mexican, I can say we have too much pride, and sometimes I come to hate it, but I also like the good things pride can do for people. It was a spectacular fight from both parts. Canelo tried, and if he continues, up to him. Like he said, he also wants to improve and he is already the best at his division, we really have nothing to reproach him, all we can do from our part is to support him,

From the weigh in I thought Eddie was attempting to sabotage the final decision to the fight bc Bivol never held his title on the stage, Eddie did. Bivol coming out first raised my antenna again and being introduced first I knew that the fix was in. As a boxing fan in the past two weekends I was pleasantly pleased with the outcomes. No, Bivol is much bigger than Smith, I give props to Canelo for taking a fight with such a big guy for Canelo. Think about it, as hard as Canelo punches, and still couldn’t hurt Bivol, fighters always measure the opponents power, if they feel they can’t get hurt, they go for it and Bivol did.

I wouldn’t say outclassed him! Canelo had his moments but they’re weight classes for a reason. Canelo couldn’t hurt him and both fighters kept moving forward. Good match!

Hitting arms all 12 rounds don't score points. Canelo landed only 3 or 4 clean uppercuts the whole fight, and that's IT. This fight was a blowout -10-2 or 9-3 - Bivol beat his ass with relative ease.

Bivol kept good distance from Canelo punches so the power effect wasn't there.

One of the best fights I’ve seen this year , if not THE best😎 Big Alvares fan, like the way he just making a mix of cleaver boxing and raw , pure power. As for Dmitry - he’s a great tactical fighter and for my ,personnaly , little bit too humble. Respect for Alvares for moving to light-heavyweight. Great boxers, great fight

Canelo is the fighter without a weight class. He's usually 15 lbs heavier on fight night. They ran out of tainted meat in camp. 😆

Bivol had this fight by 4-6 rounds and yet the judges had it close but they knew they couldn't rob another guy vs Canelo but Canelo put his hand up when he heard 115-113 because even he knew there was a good chance of another win by robbery.

@@AliKhan-mo5ow at the contrary, that means he can't, so he went to win by score instead, just as Floyd did, it's the best way to win against canelo, you have a great example on plant and Billy joe Saunders on how despite being more technical boxers they tried to go toe to toe on power exchanges, and that's how they lost, you can see clearly on the fight with Bivol how Canelo pretended to be on the ropes, to try to make Bivol to attack him and open up his defense , but he never did xDDD, bivol went full on shield and spear, never dropping his defense and throwing safely at the distance.
