@@brandonflores1938 Excuses, excuses. Bivol pulled out of talks with Beterbiev earlier in the year. And the WBC's involvement isn't even necessary for the two to fight. Meanwhile Bivol hasn't even tried to file for a WBC exemption like Beterbiev. When Bivol was asked about it he said he wasn't thinking about it because a fight has to be negotiated first except he's not negotiating lol. Beterbiev himself put him on blast to his face for being all talk.
Dmitry Bivol is such a humble, respectful champion, class act. Thanks for having him on GQ 😃

Dmitrys style is so entertaining for purists, his footwork is poetry in motion. And with him lacking the knockout power, boxing technique fans get to watch a 12 round masterclass. As for this saturday it's harder to say, with him coming out of a 15 year marriage i doubt his headspace is at full capacity.

With that said, Bivol is a rare fighter and one of the class of special fighters in history (like Salvador Sanchez, Willie Pep, Jimmy Young, Sugar Ray Robinson, etc.) that master the art of boxing. Bivol is a master of his craft and his performances are masterclass, I can't wait for his fight next and future showdown with Beterbiev.
