I got to train to with Gennady up in Big Bear, during camp got offered a fight on GGG’s card when he fought Rubio at the Stub Hub. G is as humble as they come. I remember going to a steakhouse with TeamGGG, we got a BIG table for everyone, Gennady was the last one to sit, he wanted to make sure everyone had a seat before he sat down. I knocked my opponent out after being knocked down myself. I went back to the lockers to wish Gennady luck. He watched my fight and told me “That’s real Mexican style!” & squeezed me. It was great training & running up their with him. #teamGGG forever!

Also they avoided GGG throughout his prime and when they started to see him slow down as a fighter, Canelo wanted to fight and got lucky with the draw and then wasted over a year to do the rematch just so GGG gets worse
