I love watching/listening to these types of features with young athletes. You can tell he's really just a kid still, the amount of confidence he expresses in other stuff besides basketball is preposterously high. Nobody is saying he can't have confidence in himself, but declaring yourself among the best at something when you haven't measured yourself against proven people is beyond ridiculous. Even Michael Jordan who's widely recognized as the most competitive athlete ever always said he loved the competition as a measuring stick. He wasn't parading around claiming to be at the level of MLB pros when he was actually still playing A ball.

Played a pickup game with him few years ago when he was a teenager going through some personal things in life and another guy said something talking trash and He absolutely destroyed him in the following game. Didn't know who he was at the time, but he was unbelievably fast and athletic. Fast forward to the NBA draft I about died laughing when the wife paused the TV. SAME KID. SMALL WORLD! FRFR!
