@@edwardnygma8533 Jigglypuff has a unique passive effect in which when it's shield breaks it's launched high into the air; generally the only way to survive it is to either knock against a ceiling, or in custom stage, having enough warps to cover several screen's worth of height.

Honestly I think this still might be true, the losing wing mechanic is rly weird, sometimes you lose the wing sometimes you don’t when you take a stock

I forgot to mention something in your community post: Sephiroth + Minecart = DOESN"T WORK AT ALL. When the minecart grabs him he just breaks and floats above it an a weird frozen animation.

Someone probably already brought this up, but the screen in the back of boxing ring also keeps track of your K.O.s in training, so it’s not a bug with Sephiroth

If you turn on a handicap and set it above Sephiroth's "threshold", you can start the game in winged form

actually, training mode has always kept track of your KOs and deaths! go to either pokemon stadium and the screen in the background will still tell you who's in the lead

Here's something to try: Go on training mode, set the speed to 2/3, and, with the menu still open, attempt to close the menu and open the move list at the same time. If you time it right, the menu will remain on screen but be impossible to interact with. Since you cannot repair the menu at this point, and exiting training mode requires the menu, you are now softlocked :)

I bet if you asked whichever designer worked on the Wing system how it works, you'd get a deep sigh followed by the Japanese equivalent of "Okay, so..."

I have a fact that i submitted to the form a while back: Steve's jump out of minecart is not affected by any jump boost spirits or items like the bunny hood.

Fun Fact: Sephiroth has a weird animation while in Steve's minecart

Sakurai did say that the wing is based on how much of a disadvantage the player is at. So, you’ll get the wing easier if you are on your last stock, and your opponent is still on their third stock. Edit: Spelling

@@liquidscreamisnomore I low key don’t believe you, this is only because Ike’s up b takes almost half a second to complete, then sephiroth also has to dash forward completely into it, not to mention Ike is slow and has to run off off stage, and then he doesn’t get spiked immediately and has to fall, that would take atleast 1 and a half seconds or 2

Fact: Healing will not remove Sephiroth’s wing. I was curious about this and tested it in training mode, and it let me keep the wing.

These videos really make you appreciate how many edge the cases the programmers have to deal with when making new characters/content for the game.

Fun fact: The way Sephiroth's up tilt teleports opponents is almost identical to a particular hitbox on King Dedede's F-Smash! You can test this out with the timer in the same way, at least i'd assume so.

I actually impaled a dirt block once to stall my fall, the steve whiffed under me, and I got a nice punish with back air. That was a satisfying moment.

One of the multi-hits that get screwed up: Megaflare (partial charge of Sephiroth’s neutral special) at high percent.

@1998SIMOMEGA For me it was messed up on Day -4 (ver 10.0.0) with an opponent (Corrin I think) at 999%.

This madlad took Sephiroth to sudden death to unlock him. This video earned my like just for that!

Here's one for ya. Can Seph's side b effect Nana? By that I mean,can those orbs circle both of the Ice Climbers or just one?

I just found a glitch. If you use AC Clouds Alt and have Sephiroth Shirtless near the end stairs at Draculas Castle if you use Omnislash V5 and hit him the Final Smash will play out but nobody is getting hit. Never thought I would discover a Glitch

Fun facts:Sephiroths down special is counted as a projectile, so it can be reflected, his side special when reflected will actually give 4-5 orbs instead of the normal 3, and when aiming his up b at the ground he will automatically slide across the ground if close enough like how pacmans side b works from what ive experienced

fun fact: if you reflect sephiroth's side b, you can get five sphere's orbiting in one shot.

@1998SIMOMEGA Dude, it wouldn't be as simple as a single chain of ifs, it would require a variable for every single possible situation, making what number it would need fot it to activate 1 by 1 would need all possible situations, like the amount of stocks in battle, how many have been taken and lost, recovered, etc. Making it 1 by 1 would be millions of different variables, millions of ifs, not only painful to code, but it wouldn't be really optimized at all and the size of the fighter in the code would be way larger, but with an algorithm however, it would need only a few lines of code, saving all that pain

Fun fact: Like a regular shield break, Puff will die instantly if it is shield-broken from Super Nova. Oh nvm

Mo, because it can't happen In that case, the game uses port priority to determine who actually hit the counter, and then the counterattack just hits both opponents. (The other attack is ignored. Characters become invincible the moment their counter is hit) Same for other counters

fun fact: if you do a Sephiroth counter on say, a Lucas F smash, it does crazy damage to Sephiroth, because his counter is a projectile, and it gains power from the initial hit of the bat (but extends the hitbox) and then the powered up counter is reflected by the bat, making it crazy strong. At least, that happed once to me online, so it may or may not be accurate, but that's what I think happened.

It seems like the wing has different trackers for activating, the first one is for 1-2 stock differences, one for each 1v1 and 3+ player matches separately (which is probably just a modifier based on the 1v1 damage boost), and another one based on the percentage of stocks Or at least that's what i'm getting

They got rid of the T-pose because if Sephiroth T-posed then the game would implode.

I would love to see you make a second channel, the idea sounds really cool
