You made an error with the healing field. The reason it wasn’t healing the cpu as much is because you threw the healing field. Whoever throws the healing field (and teammates) heals 2% from it at a time while any other players heal only 1%

I’ve done tests with almost every infinite move, and yes, kirby’s up B doesn’t slow down. Something though, is the his down B DOES slow down

7:10 when joker is star KOed he first hits the screen with his mask on but as he slides down they morph into glasses. Just noticed that and though I should point it out

When Joker in his School Uniform gets his glasses back, they first appear as the mask. If you wait for him to lose Arsene normally, you will also see the mask first.

Joker's glasses are on the splash screen, the mask just goes in front of them until it fades. My bet's that the mask is a special effect that the team forgot to change for the glasses alt.

One other thing regarding the final fact: The Bowsercide slows down as well. Edit: I did not find this out on my own. I found it on a video from a KZreadr named Udge.

4:30 Does the CPU (or any other player) heal less because the CPU wasn't the one that threw it on the ground? Maybe the healing field only heals 2% per second on the person who threw it down, and 1% on whoever else stands in the field. Maybe that explains why the healing sprout and the food items heal the same.

Just tested it. I went into training mode, set the player and CPU damage up and had the CPU throw a Healing Field. The CPU healed quicker than the player. Then, I had the player be the one to set it up, and the CPU healed slower Good catch

Yes, even the wiki states that: Owner: 2%, 1% when shielding. Others: 1%, 0.5% when shielding.

7:40 actually, that's the mask from when you gain a persona is p5. Y'see, whenever Joker would get a new persona, it would technically be a new "mask" so he would put a white mask on and it would merge with his regular mask. That white mask is still put on whenever arsene returns. I believe for Joker's school boy uniform, they still use the white mask, but it still fades away revealing his glasses, sort of as a way of showing his glasses as his mask.

These are always my favorite videos. Thank you! Also that healing field invincibility aspect was likely made it so you can't camp the healing field while invincible. Because then you would essentially just get a free heal with your opponent not being able to do anything about it.

The differences have to do with how games are made. When you're making a video game in a game engine, you create an asset, you take various images and apply code to make them appear as an animation. Then you give it it's collision frame, gravity, what it can collide with (for example the floor), and set many other parameters to determine all the things it can do, be it an item, character, level surfacing etc. So often times instead of starting from scratch every time you make an asset, you save various coded instruction sets and reuse as needed. So often times items copy code from others that do similar things. So for example some of Hero's Down B moves use copied instruction sets from say an item with maybe a different animation (and sometimes coding is redone entirely). That's why many items/moves/spirits react either the same or differently to one another. I like these videos because your various tests can reveal which actions in the game use repeated code and which do not, as well as which use partially repeated code or repeated code with different parameters in the game space. Very cool!

Here’s one I just found, if you use villagers side b against DDD neutral b and space it so the Lloid turns red just before going into DDD’s mouth, DDD swallows it and spits it back out, but the Lloid will be back to its brown color

With the freezie ice floor fact: I know it doesn't make a difference but to make it clear, freezie doesn't freeze an opponent when at a low percent so the clip of throwing the freezie doesn't prove anything, though it doesn't make a difference as the spirit will still cancel freezie.

6:05, Dang, I actually pointed that out once. :( I guess this means the last one's Arsene marches to a different beat, because I outright went from 1 to 999 individually as fast as possible, and the first 2 were identical, while the last on kept desincing for some reason.

Just a little fun fact, the momentum thingy also happens with bowser during his side-b!

I'm Italian and here in Italy is normal to say spaghetti as a plural word and lasagna as a singular because we change the final letter to form the plural like spaghetto (singular) you change the "o" in "i" or lasagna (singular) you change the "a" in "e". In any case you pronounced lasagne pretty good. (I'm sorry if I wrote any word wrong but, as I said, I'm Italian)

According to Smash 4's Smash Blog. The blaster Ray's logo is inversed so that when the ray hits the opponent it would leave a correctly orientated burn mark. Neat logic Sakurai, but it kinda defeats the point if characters don't get visual burn marks in game =b

For the Mario Bros. stage you can just turn off stage hazards which will get rid of the enemies but keep the scrolling aspect of the stage.

Hey I have a fact for you regarding lucarios final smash,Xernas and any opponent Have lucario Use the Xernas poke ball and right as the “gold” effect is about to run out use lucarios final smash (Preferably Max aura) On any opponent ( i don’t know if it only works on specific characters but I thought it was a cool fact!) when the final smash is done lucario will still be gold, i was messing around in the training room and found this out

I have a fact about AC:NH (Animal Crossing: New Horizons). Setup: If you have the game cartridge for it, then multiple accounts can pile into one island. Using this, multiple people can play at once, there is one leader and the rest are followers, the followers can do most of what regular people do but they have no inventory (they can still take out their tools) so anything they catch goes to the recycle bin. The thing about the tools is that they will be invincible as a follower. Me and my sister were playing yesterday (the day we got the cartridge) and she caught over 30 fish, and her flimsy fishing pole never broke. So that's a fun fact

You can play with Stage Hazards off to turn off the Enemies in the Mario Bros Stage That does mean no training mode, but you know

if you look close enough at joker's face when in schoolform, yes he gets the mask reformed because arsene got deactivated, but when he slides down, you can see the glasses on him

I think it should be important to note that the fact of Joker in his school outfit, where his mask appears instead of his glasses, that it is instead an -animation- of it appearing, because after a second or two, you can see that the mask sort of vanishes and the glasses takes it's place.

About the infinite Ridley side-B thing: The crabs and turtles won’t spawn if you turn hazards off, but the weird blast zone properties will still work. You still won’t be able to use the side-B forever, but it makes it easier to keep dragging.

If you trow an item, the damage depends of how you trow the item, for example the staff If you trow it backwards it deals 6% If you trow it running it deals 14% If you trow it upwards and land on the opponent it deals 11% *This works for most of the items that can you can throw*

i'm surprised no one's suggested the possibility that healing items like the healing field actually deal damage, just negative. this would explain why you can spot dodge the heals and invulnerability cancels it out

I think Joker’s mask appears in the screen KO with his Shujin outfit because there’s a model for when Joker’s mask reappears (it’s the glowing mask) and I’m pretty sure they use that same mask model for when he’s using the Shujin outfit

That last smash fact with the portals can actually work with bowser down air down b and I believe side b as well

The mask that Joker has in his screen KO wearing his Shujin alt is part of the summoning and withdrawing animation of Arsene. It’s not really a coding error but more of staying true to the series since any Persona Joker has form the same mask, so even wearing his school uniform, Arsene returns as Joker’s usual mask and not shown to return as his glasses.

There is an arrow pointing on the Healing field. Wich means it belongs to a player. When it is thrown by Player 1 the arrow will be red and Player 1 will heal 2 hp at a second while Player 2 heals 1 hp. If Player 2 throws it, he (or she) will heal 2 hp while player 1 will heal 1 hp.

The BGM was chosen in good taste with how this video started

I think the Shujin Joker's mask is just an effect that happens when the mask is reapplied. It's probably coded behind the default Joker's mask, but they probably didn't make a whole different effect to go behind his glasses.
