Heres a fact: Im pretty sure shulk is the only cha that can use his neutral special while having his final smash. This is because menado arts are able to be used in hitstun and the final smash cannot.

Cupheads name in german is Tassilo. Which is a pun because Tasse means cup in german.

All of this fish talk reminds me of bird names, and how confusing they can be. Also, I gotta go fishing again sometime, but I neither have a fishing pole or a license to fish, as I need a license to go fishing in my state.

I'm so glad to have someone explain why good localization is good. I'm sure the Japanese person that wrote the joke in Japanese would feel much better that you laugh at a similar joke to their's at the same moment than having you not understand and move on, or pull out your phone if you think "What does that mean?" and have Google explain the likely joke being made and you giving an unimpressed "Neat.". Good localization is supposed to not feel like it's translated. As long as names like Lord Shiro and Professor Takemaru aren't written as Edgelord of the Filth and Dr. Wackybeans without much reason, there's no issue. It's easier for you to digest and little Timmy who forgets Japan exists to understand say a tired businessman NPC to say "After a hard day's work I could sure go for some burgers." instead of "The savior of the proud salaryman is a humble plate of gyoza.", especially in a non-overly Japanese setting.

Isabelle has bells in her hair too, that was the explaination i always hear... in Spanish she is called canela, the Pun here is for Can (canine), canela means cinnamon in Spanish, her brother (Digbi) also changes his name for ''Candres''.

I don’t remember if you made a fact about it but did you know that in spirit mode when you are fighting characters clones (shadow and light ones) if kirby eats a king k Rool clone his neutral special uses the color of the king k Rool.

4:55 So, in pokemon, you have two attack types: physical and special and the damage calcs are correspond to the different stats like attack vs special attack and defense vs special defense. To represent that a move is special or physical, Pokemon uses two symbols to represent the two types of attacks. The symbol on the ring mat MIGHT be the symbol for physical attacks in Pokemon, which makes sense since there's a bunch of physical moves at play for the final smash. I could be wrong here, however.

Since you want some translation facts related to smash... I'll say paper mario is close enough, since Mario is en smash. I've only know about the english and spanish versions so I'll only speak about the spanish one. (Spanish from spain, just in case) Lot's of name's are changed: Goombella/Goomarina (like marina from splatoon 2) Koopie Koo/Koopatricia (Patricia is the feminine for Patrick... I don't know if it's a common name somewhere else) Sir Grodus/Xenón (like the element and also starts with an X, for being of the X-nauts) Vivia/Bibiana (In spanish v and b are pronounced the same) Beldam/Piruja (The only time I've heard this word is in the saying "bruja piruja" that means bad witch... so it means evil, I guess) Flurrie/Claudia (Pronounced as cloud + ia, is a pun in english weirdly enough) General white/General bomblanco (is weird is not changed because of a general with "blanco" as their surname having been famously victim to a bomb) Rawk Hawk/Hawk Hogan/Halcomán (the name was changed for the remake) and many more. In translations other than names: Rawk Hawk instead of telling you to play fighting games tells you to play smash brothers (in the original it said melee), Rogue Port, Poshley heights and twilight town are named "Villa viciosa/preciosa/sombria" respectively, but are all "villas" which means town, The S in a save spot is a G, for to save is said "guardar". I'm sure there are many more and if I find any I'll add them in a comment to this, but for now this is all I can remember. Love your vids

Honestly I really liked this formula, it’s very interesting to hear both localisation facts and fish facts as well as the usual smash facts. I’d personally love if this continued but I doubt that would be smartest for KZread’s algorithm (from what I understand)

Fun fact about me, the rainbow trout was the first fish i ever caught. We guttet it and grilled it over a campfire. (Horrible choice of cooking btw). But it tasted great. (Maybe because I wanted it to taste good to feel better about catching it but still great). Another fun fact it that Isabelle is called Melinda in German, even tho Isabell is a fairly common ,,German,, name.

I’d like you to know that the ASL sign name for Mario is an M on the forehead (showing the M on his hat)… which means Luigi’s ASL sign name is an L… on the forehead. Which looks like, y’know. Loser.

I confirm that "Marie" is very close to "mairie" ( meaning "townhall" ) And it also is to "maire", which is indeed the masculine word for "mayor". And also the feminine form. It's a gender invariant noun. There is a word "mairesse", which is specifically a female mayor or the wife of a mayor, but it is never used.
