His skills wouldn't be enough but the recruitment strategy will also be important.

Andonovski may do better with KC Current due to the fact that he’s learned from his USWNT failure and by working day after day close contact with KC, he’ll do better. I’m NOT the guy fan, but I expect his team if not this year, next or near future KC will stand out!👍⚽️🗽

The players don't prefer Europe because they win more trophies. They prefer to be tested against the best players, which most of the top 50 are in Europe.

I like the way Ali talked about Vlatko with grace and wished him success at KC, not like another veteran who badmouthed our National team, our beloved players, and the coach.

Really? the poor coach clearly didn't know what he was doing. hey believe what you want this is a free country but he's out for a reason.

Vlatko's record as national coach is 51-5-9 not one of a poor coach who doesn't know what he is doing. Also, the Kansas City Current hired him for the 2024 season.

Ali mentioned a South American league to play as a champions league really? what league and how many hours are the NWSL teams willing to fly? I doesn't make sense the teams might as well play again an European league team. Mexico is starting to be an attractive league why look somewhere else.

This job is gonna be a test for him becuz lets be honest the barca team is different beast. Now can he transfer the same style of football he played in barca to Washington. Becuz what made thta barca special was their Middlefield the likes of walsh,Bonmati n patji. So this can expose him is he good or it was jst the barca team carrying him

I think you are jaded by the Europe concept for men, the situation is quit different with women.

The European leagues also offer a greater financial opportunity. All those championships are worth a great deal of 💰

well, lets see. hes going from the worlds top allstar team, that paid for the best of the best, and hes going to a team, in a league with a salary cap. should be interesting. doubt he had much to do with Barca being good. that 50 match win streak in league play is funny though. if anybody watches Liga F, u know what i mean.

@saddingus7850 Why because of the lack of competition in that league? You know 7-0 wins

Barca didn't 'pay for the best'. If you knew anything about anything, you'd know Barca MAKES their players and their teams in La Masia. The people who make them are the Jonatan Giraldez's, Luis Cortes's and Pep Guardiolas, and, as Pep has shown, they can make them anywhere. I do watch Liga F. In fact I watch the Champion's League too. Nothing funny about any of that stuff.

they dont pay for players outside Spain? Rolfo, CGH, Bronze, Engen, Walsh, etc. are u sure u watch? @@mlsarchitect meanwhile they play nobody in league. you cant even count RM right now. its a joke. thats why 50 straight wins is funny.

@@T.R.75 Barca is founded on the talent from La Masia and, for the most part, they bring in young players (Vicki and Dragoni) to train at La Masia for the first team. When mature players are brought in they are transformed within the system and either become much better and more prominent or leave early (Geyse). Rolfo plays as a midfielder or forward everywhere except at Barca; CGH is still a peripheral player for her country and, at Wolfsburg, was nothing like she is now at Barca; Engen is a much, much better player than she was when she arrived and now plays center back more than defensive midfield; Walsh is a much, much better player than when she arrived and is still improving. I don't argue nonsense for the sake of arguing -- in the end it's pointless -- just an ego trip because results on the field decide. Barca has the same record in La Liga as it has in the WCL and when La Liga's top teams come up against the best of the Supa-Dupa League the Supa-Dupa League comes up short as often as not. They are two different styles and you may prefer the wham-bam-thank-you-mam checkers game but your preference doesn't diminish chess.
