Man City would exploit the lack of any top quality defenders in this Arsenal team ...hope Jonas would come up with a defensive gamepaln to surprise them.
To be honest as a Londoner I struggle to care about the Arsenal ladies team that doesn’t look like an Arsenal team that has long traditions diversity and many black players in the male and female game. Women’s football used to be class and race diverse in 10 years ago, but in the fully professional era England have made massive mistakes in grassroots, by shutting down the football academies and satellite schools for girls in the big diverse cities and only having them in affluent white areas. This has change women’s football into a sport for middle class white girls and I have lost interest in women’s club football due to this because the idiots at the English FA have managed to create Americans style pay to play exclusion in the women’s game in England so when I watch WSL I am not watching the very best players, just the girls who had the money to get access to elite schools outside of the major big cities with people of colour.
