Can British Magician Kat Hudson Outwit Penn & Teller? Fooler Or No Fooler?

Fooler or No Fooler? Can British magician Kat Hudson fool Penn & Teller with handbag mind reading?
NOTE - No NFCs or stooges etc were used to achieve this trick. On Fool Us, you have to disclose the method to producers before the show so they know how the trick is done
British magician, Kat Hudson attempts to fool the best 2 magicians in the world with original handbag trick. 4 volunteers can choose anything they like from a bag full of items and Kat reveals not only what everyone took, but also predicts the order in which they would be taken.
Kat Hudson, previously seen on Britain's Got Talent and in the West End in Wonderville

I was totally expecting the list at the end, but I didn't expect her to guess all of the items.
An absolutely fantastic trick, I certainly couldn’t work it out, (and I couldn’t work out P&T’s code.) However I was slightly annoyed that they had subtitles on your introduction. Maybe it’s because I’m from England, but your accent is beautiful and totally understandable.
It's so pleasing to watch and listen to her
Ah, Hull's accent. I traveled few years ago all the way from Finland to Hull to get to know your city, which is the hometown of my favorite guitarist late Mick Ronson. As Mick played the guitar so beautifully, you performed your trick so beautifully and gracefully. I enjoyed every moment, thank you!

Mick Ronson! Absolute legend. He deserves more credit than he gets for his work on Bowie's early albums, and ofc his solo work is completely underappreciated! Sorry to bring rock nerdery into a comments section abt magic, I'm just thrilled to stumble on someone who knows who Mick is 😅
Very charismatic performance! Loved every moment of this routine!
Very well done!!
I love your humor, very entertaining performance !
See Kat live. Absolutely fantastic!
Very charming performance!
I've seen "the list at the end" several times now on P&T, but still have no idea how it's done, and go "Wow!" each time, and this time it took me by surprise. As P&T, and everyone here is commenting, I loved the humor and the performance.

@@AlanHudsonmagician Fine. Where is she really from?
Wonderful act. I did find the editing a bit jarring, but I do understand the constrains of a tv show and how it should flow.
I love three things about this magician, 1) she doesn't attempt to hide her accent - I love her cofidence, 2) the trick is so simple with no weird handling that goes on so I cannot guess how it's done, it's so pure (it seems to me) and 3) Kat is really entertaining to watch, totally mesmarising, funny and confident. The strange effect of the list at the end almost spoilt the trick for me because it made it feel like it was too impossible if that makes sense? Hope to see more of her bravo.

Same! I thought I knew how she did it until the "Ball drop" and "Times Square" hints. Wait, maybe there were only 4 items left in the bag... so it's like a countdown 4 3 2 1. Now I just have to figure out the other 85% of the trick!
when did this episode air? did you go on it recently?
Such a lovely trick, and a shame it's didn't fool them.. But GO HULL!!! Awesome to see us represented in the big shiny :)

magic is one of the few male-dominated fields I've seen that are so welcoming to women! Most male magicians love it when women get the spotlight, cause it's more magicians, and I think that's very nice. Fantastic performance, loved every second
@ralphralpherson9441

There aren't many "male-dominated" fields that WON'T welcome a woman, except the ones where we really don't think a woman should be there (like brutal combat) because woman could be raped in captivity which is too horrid a fate for most of us (husbands and daddies) to mentally handle. I can't think of many fields that WOULDN'T be spruced up and bettered by a few gals bopping around. Although there's always a shortage of female applicants when it comes time to hire the coal miners, sewage plant technicians, roofers, and brick-layers. Interesting....
For you accent collectors out there, add East Yorkshire to your list and you will understand where Kat hails from.
Excellent trick. First thought was stooges, but seeing the comments about the rules of Fool Us tossed that out. But listening to P+T, I think I have some idea, but not 100% sure. Which is fine. I don't need to know how precisely the trick is done to enjoy it. It's still fun to watch. Well done. Next time you'll get them.

I know the list part, but I have no idea how she knew the items. Great performance.
the technique of this trick is quite simple and without too much difficulty or surprise, but what is pleasant is the freshness brought when it is a woman who presents it. I have been practicing magic for several decades (much more than I would like to remember...) and I appreciate that our world is finally opening up to women. They open up themes that men have ignored and they add a lot of finesse, elegance and humor, which men often lack. Well done to them in general and to Kat in particular!

So... who's going to explain this one because it straight up looked like she either was psychic or had someone offstage with an in-ear monitor. Very deadpan and matter-of-fact "yep, you took this"... also curious why there was a jump cut between #3 and #4, what did we miss there?

My guess was a vibrating signal in the compact since she didn't put it down until later, with an RFID system that triggered a unique pattern for each item as it left the bag. But if there were no electronics then I'm stumped.

Sounds like English to me. That's the language they speak in England. Which, by a remarkable coincidence, is where English comes from!
I really like her accent... it just adds to her sexiness! hehe As for how she did it, i am just guessing that the purse plays some sort of role and maybe provides some opportunities for her to make some choices. And Penn says how he's jealous of being able to carry around a handbag, or something like that. That was the only "code" i caught from him. But it was a fun performance to watch. Penn and Teller did two tricks themselves instead of just one at the end, so that was a nice surprise.
