    @@timhitt9541 it's actually an old "magic trick" a little revised. I got to say he's got balls to perform such a simple act in front of two of the greatest magician in the world. Even tho i know how everything was done i can say that it was super clean. Even with my background in this exact routine i haven't see any manipulation. Congrats on that!

    I don't miss Alyson shouting absolutely everything she says on the show. Brooke is a breath of fresh air. Alyson acted like she didn't realise she was wearing a mic for most of the time, and making sure the audience in the back could hear her. Her performance as compare always felt so wooden, and forced. Brooke is a LOT more natural, in comparison. :)

    Spoilerish guessing on my part: The first 3-4 tricks are pretty standard sleight of hand stuff, bringing the card to the top/bottom of the deck. There are so many sneaky ways of doing that, but he did it really smooth way. As for the final, I'm guessing some really flimsy , super thin cloth like material that looks like a card, attached to a string that pulls the "cloth" to the bottom really fast, triggered by the weight of the deck, (he puts it down with a bend in the deck, which creates a delay) Flawless execution and a cool gimmick.

  • @marctronixx

    @marctronixx

    6 ай бұрын

    no the card was gimmicked in that it had a flap that "flipped over" exposing the face of the card. when penn said the word "flipped" in his analysis of the trick, that is what he was referring to.

    @@ay38338You know how I know you're lying? The first three tricks didn't require any sleight of hand at all to achieve, so there was absolutely nothing for you to spot. They were self-working tricks that just required a very small amount of setup prior to the trick beginning. Doesn't make his performance any less great, and clearly the audience were entertained as were Penn and Teller. You're not as smart as you think you are.

    The producers are listening to everything P&T are saying while they're deliberating, and they know exactly how the magic trick is done. They tell Penn whether they guessed correctly before he speaks to the magician, so he doesn't have to say anything at all other than "you fooled us" or "you didn't fool us", the code words and so on are for the audience, not for the magician.

    The first three tricks are easy to understand, the fourth I don't know how he did it. The interesting thing here though is how Penn, Teller and Brooke 'bent the knee' to this guy, however talented, and *over-react* to not being fooled (they feel ashamed to tell him) and to his sexuality. This is what BLM did to minds.
