    It's a nice trick and good premise. It does feel like it could have some improvement, like involvement from a volunteer, showing the empty boxes, continuing to larger objects. Can't wait to see you go back

    In magic, if you're going to make something appear in a box, you have to show the box is empty at first.

    This was a great performance! Glad to see more interesting ideas for tricks on stage. As a lot of people mentioned before, it would be a bit hard to perform for laypeople as people would assume that the items are still in the box and being pushed out with a separate mechanism, like a remote in your pocket or shoe. For performances not with an audience like P & T, it would be nice to have a moment of proving the audience's guess completely wrong. Just have a complete trick misdirection (make the trick look like it's happening one way, but it's performed in a different way) or some way of people believing in the mechanism to feel immersed in your performance.

    Hi! Thanks for the feedback. I don’t know why people is so obsessed in showing the boxes empty. My trick is a Portal, the thing that had to fool them is how the travel works. That’s the important thing. Nevertheless I show the empty box at the end and to Brooke as well. The first box with the money I shake it to prove the bill’s gone… I think it would be boring and repetitive to show ALL the boxes empty in each phase of the routine. But that’s just my opinion. Oh and you’re so wrong in the method. Thanks for the kind words 🙏🏻

Only issues that doesn't make it top tier is not showing the boxes are empty to begin with and you putting the sticker on the picture. If she put the sticker wherever and it ended up like that then you would get the how tf did he do that response. Fun trick though. Good job.

    Is your opinion, in my opinion these are not improvements! And it’s my routine in the end, which I’ve been working for 4 years just for this show. She does indeed pick the sticker she wants. She could draw the smile herself but there’s no point in doing so, it’s my story so I’m the one doing it. She could place the photo inside? Yes but again I’m the magician 😅 So I don’t see the point in your “improvements”.

    @@AntonioIlusionista Wow, your replies are a little unprofessional. I'm disappointed, because I liked your trick, and I wanted to praise you, but your attitude is not polite, and that's also part of being a real performer - having some skilful way of _politely_ replying to comments! If you are so sensitive to comments, perhaps Social Media is not the right place for your videos. You have the choice to not put your videos on here of course, rather than being impolite to your audience. What did you imagine - that every comment would only be positive? That's not the way Social Media works, unfortunately.

  • @ZagnutBar

    @ZagnutBar

    I completely agree.... I'm a hobbyist magician who has watched a LOT of Fool Us and when you watch a lot you see trends. The very best performances lead you to believe you've got the trick figured out and then WHOA- they completely disprove you, and all within the act itself. There was one trick I remember where the magician presented many decks of cards in a carousel-like mechanism and shows how the gimmicked deck selection works. Then he reveals that the rotating carousel of card decks are actually just a flat piece of paper with multiple decks printed on them, leading you to believe that there was only one deck the whole time. I feel this trick really needs a game changing reveal like this. Like many others have commented, there are many moments in the trick that would have been enhanced with "provers" to make the trick feel all the more magical. Yes, like showing the boxes are empty, or removing the skirt from the table at the last moment, to reveal that there's no gimmick under the table? There are lots of ways you could do this that would just make the trick feel even more magical.

    Hola Antonio, la idea es buena, pero repetir tantas veces el mismo truco (con distintas cajas) hace que el público "adivine" cual es el truco. Incluso si no aciertan exactamente, eso da igual. Le quita la magia. Creo que tienes que trabajar en hacer el truco menos veces (obviamente haciendolo mas espectacular de otra forma). Creo que enviar la foto de vuelta desde la caja grande a la pequeña también mata un poco la ilusión. En fin, es un buen truco pero hay que diseñar un poco mejor como mostrarlo, felicidades :)

    Pues no estoy para nada de acuerdo. Con todo el respeto del mundo, soy yo el que ha trabajado en esta rutina 4 años y soy yo el que está haciéndola en este programa. Estoy harto de ver como todo el mundo tiene la verdad absoluta sobre cómo mejoraría 😂 Y no, el hecho de que la foto vuelva no mata la ilusión, la realza. Porque es impresionante que pueda volver de vuelta, algo que no había pasado en las tres fases anteriores. Tampoco es verdad que el sacar varias cajas haga que la gente “adivine” el truco. He hablado con decenas de magos que no tienen ni idea de cómo funciona el método.

    It’s not her decision. This is because they shoot two episodes a day during two weeks. The magicians order then it is not the same. So the same outfit is because of that, so you don’t notice the change of order and they can put whatever magicians they want in each episode. Same with Penn and Teller. Alyson did this as well.

    Your responses are a bit much in the comments. you claim a ton of work went into this im sorry but unless your reffering to the photo album it did not this is a very dull trick. You also claim that showing the boxes empty is not important but it is. I know why you cant but without that people dont rate it as a trick. Its all about distancing yourself from the comments because keeping the correct Distance is really important.

    I wasn't fooled. If you had only one portal with multiple objects that would be more impressive. But the fact that you kept bringing out pairs of boxes makes it pretty obvious. As to making the objects move: small magnets and switches under the table, or even connected strings... doesn't really matter could be done a number of ways. The sticker thing would be impressive if she had free choice of a UNIQUE sticker, or had free choice of where to out the sticker. Thw stickers were all exactly the same and you placed and drew on the sticker. As to the box being "empty": false walls. There's a reason you never showed the box as empty with the passport: too big for false walls. If not false walls then a trap under the table through a slit. Either way it wasn't an impressive trick. It needs to be worked on.

    I’m glad you weren’t fooled thinking that your explanations are right, but you’re so wrong on so many levels that I won’t waste my energy/time writing a good answer. Be a hater in another place! 🤗
