Goes true for everything. I've been shooting everything for my channel on a low end very old phone and they come out pretty okay

I like the coral color in XR and the purple in 11. If you are an XR user, there's no reason to upgrade. XR is still good. Serves its purpose.

@@samueljames657 because the phone specs are the same besides the ultra wide on the 11. A hundred other reviews show the XR and 11 take the same shots besides night mode/portrait/ultra wide. Regular shooting is no different. This review made it seem like the XR has a 5s camera.

Monty P even if the sensor specs are mostly the same, the ISP in the A13 enables newer/better software features and algorithms to take better pictures. same way many low end phones have the sony imx363 camera sensor (same as a pixel 3/3a) but don’t take the same quality pictures.

@@ogindianspice Specs looks the same, but the sensor is definitely not the same physically, it's about registered photons and not computations - pre-11 iPhones are more than capable to handle any photo related computations, but software fix doesn't exist.

Xr and 11 have the same camera its just the 11 has an extra ultrawide camera that allows u to use portrait mode on other objects and take ultra wide shots thats it

I like the photos captured on 11. It definitely has a better camera. This is coming from XR user, but I have no desire to upgrade to 11.

Compared to Night Mode, photos taken with the flash look pretty bad, and no, Night Mode does not use the flash.

I just took a picture in my windowless powder room, no light at all. It looks great. It flashed very brightly. I have iPhone 11.

I gave up my XR 4 months in simply because of the camera. It was absolutely horrible on both default camera and Snapchat. I had a 8 plus before I got an XR so it was a huge downgrade camera wise. I traded it in for a 7 plus and have been using my 7 plus for 2 years now.

As someone who used both Iphones, I agree think the 11 is better. Clearly the Xr is a cheaper version and is older, so that’s pretty much why. Also, the night mode is OP

I'll get the XR from my carrier because it is much more discounted than the 11 & not that much worse 💪 I just hope that I don't run out of the 64gb (only version available) like I did on my 7 32gb which is something like 1 year old. Offloading apps is just a pain in the ... 🙄

If you use Hallide or focos you can bypass the no human portrait mode thing for the XR.... you have to realize that it’s entirely software when it comes to that.. I can take amazing photos of objects in portrait mode using this said apps

To see a difference in quality, you probably need an iPhone 12

Purchased an 11 after owning an Xr. Preferred the camera on the xr. Actually thought the saturation made for better pictures. Wide angle is good though. Performance of the 11 overall is worth the extra money for me.

When he is editing photo on 4:07 it's the same image that was originaly captured by main camera, not wider one, get a closer look. Besides, even if it wasn't, the quality on the wide camera is still worse

Incorrect. As you can see when it straightened out, the wider image is outside the crop. That is the wiggle room you have to adjust the photo slightly without losing quality of the main image.

For ultra wide images you can buy accessory camera lenses nor a big deal

I have the 8 Plus, and it's a solid ass camera, very similar specs to the x/xr, only reason it doesn't look as good is because the x/xr have better screen resolution. Point is, the 8 plus is solid enough 🔥👌🏻😎 Just saying that cause i still have the 8 plus 🤣

BlazeLee Xrel its still got that smooth effect not the bext tbh. Becaus i own iphone 7 and 11 iphone 7 has way better front facing camera compare to 11. But 11 has got a really good rear camera on snapchat :)

Jessy Mor yeah Apple is just simple... On Samsung you can customize your phone a lot... I think Jailbreaking causes a little errors with your phone.. That's what I always hear, but I'm not for sure

The grainy photos camera quality was so bad on the iPhone 11, I returned it the next day, very disappointed with Apple, I like their iPads and Mac but their phones are not worth the high price, and the cameras are worth nothing from my experience. My wife has the iPhone 6 and the camera was never that great, but still better than the iPhone 11. Did I get a defective product or are others having the same issues?
