Let me save u 10 minutes: They are very similar so if u have XR stay with it and see if next year is worth it. If u have iPhone 8 or older its better to get newwest and latest so get 11.

torres3800 same. I told my dad about the leaks and he never believed me. When the phone and price came out he was surprised. I got it in January too. As far as it goes I’m at 99% health. Can you tell me what’s your battery health? You just go to settings>battery>battery health.

Churro Playz I'm at freaking 100% efficiency 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 but I rarely charge my phone overnight. I kinda balance my charge from going below 10% or beyond 80% charged. Charging to 100% or going to 0% often can reduce battery life.

I bought the XR because of the price drop

It's business so it make sense for them to release new product every year. What doesn't make sense is to expect people to change their phone every year, which I don't think it's Apple's fault because the iPhones always stay relevant longer than any phones released in the same year.

It would be impractical for everyone to upgrade to the new phone every year. It’s more of an option for those have a significantly older model. For instance, someone has an iPhone 6 and needs an upgrade, while someone with an XR doesn’t really need an upgrade. Apple knows many people aren’t gonna upgrade from just 1 model, so they make phones annually for those who have older models and feel like they need an upgrade. Hope this makes sense

Yes. In the USA may be easier but here where I live the gap is huge on the price. Like 270 usd. It's insane.

GodOfDisrespect if you don’t have portrait mode on your phone. Then FOCOS is an app you could use that will blur the out of focus parts of a portrait. XR has portrait mode but it only works on people and not objects. FOCOS creates a bokeh effect. it also allows you to adjust how blurry you want the background. I hope I explained it correctly as to what FOCOS is and does

Went to an iPhone 8plus now I got the iPhone 11 overall for $700 it’s a great phone, if you want oled go with the pro

I upgraded from IPhone 5S to iPhone XR and it took me a bit of time to get used to lol. At least I’m happy I can get an upgrade and keep this phone for years to come

I’m still using my 2014 iPad Air 2 and 2015 iPhone 6s Plus. No need for me to upgrade, they are both still fast. The only thing that is tempting me to get a newer iPad is the bigger 12.9 inch screens on the pro. Which I will probably get when my iPad Air 2 is unsupported.

Had the iPhone 5, have iPhone SE now for almost three years and I’m thinking about upgrading to 11 not XR. Wanting a better battery and camera.

I wonder if the 11 has the same flickering problem that the Xr has since it’s the same display. I’ve read entries on the Apple support forum and replacement screens didn’t seem to help much. Even though it doesn’t happen a lot in my case, it does happen and it’s not very nice. My Xr isn’t even that old yet.

I want the iPhone 11, but I got the XR from my carrier for 0$ per month, with a 200$ down payment. If I did the same with the 11, I would be paying an extra 20$/month on top of my plan. It's not worth that to me. I love my XR, and don't regret the cheap'n out~ ;)

@@AzureQuality Uh, no it's not. The second camera isn't under the hood; you see it right on the back and can't deny it. That wide angle thing is no joke; both for selfies and expanded view photos. That's something you absolutely CAN'T DO with the XR. Same thing with Night mode; XR CAN'T do that; and there are a LOT of people who take more pictures at night than regular day hours. Proof right in this video of how the XR CANT do that. CAN'T take portraits of anything besides people with the XR either. Less battery life. So, be quiet :).

The iPhone 11 is all more money per month than the XR and I’m looking to upgrade. Im not too keen on the apple logo in the middle or the looks of the double cameras so what would you recommend.If I get an XR then I could maybe get some AirPods aswell.Are the wide angle lense and night mode actually worth it?If I get the 11 I would get no AirPods but maybe some street credit if you get me aha.Thanks for your help!

$100 for a ultra wide lens, a newer chip for a bit longer lifespan, slightly longer battery, you can just work 1-2 extra shifts for that $100, and your phone will last at least a year longer, totally worth it.

I’m thankful she’s being honest about night mode compared to a lot of other tech reviewers out there

I dont quite know what difference you are referring too on the screens as they are both liquid retina HD displays in other words they are identical...

Can someone answer a question for me? I have a lot of apps and a lot of photos. I can’t afford more than the base 64gb. Is it in my best interest to go with the XR because the pictures from the 11 will take up more room because of the resolution being so high? Does that make sense?
