Caitlin Clark's First Victory at Indiana Fever Day 2 Training Camp & New Rivalry with Diana Taurasi

Спорт

Caitlin Clark Finished the Indiana Fever 2nd Training Camp Day on high note as she clinched the title in the season's inaugural half-court shot contest. On the other hand, Phoenix Mercury star Diana Taurasi has intensified her criticism of Caitlin Clark as their match day draw nearer. Indiana Fever will face Phoenix Mercury on June 30, 2024 and we wish Caitlin Clark all the best!

Taurasi is accomplished & seasoned enough to behave like a professional and an adult! She instead behaved like a bitchy adolescent w/ an arrogant & unwelcoming attitude that only serves to reveal her jealousy, petty nature, and deeply entrenched insecurity. Her insecurity doesn’t have to be related to her own talent but it is definitely there! Generosity of spirit costs NOTHING and goes a long way towards showing We over Me. I hope Clark is Rookie of the year and that Indiana kicks ass!

You got all of that from her saying that reality is coming, wow either you're very delusional or a mind reader I think she told the truth it's not gonna be sweet like it was before she spoke like a competitor it's the fans job to bow down to other people not to other players. It's caitlin's job to earn the respect of her peers. The narrative they are pushing that the world is against this girl is pathetic she had better show up and show out or else she going to be the biggest bust in history. Y'all fans don't know how big of a target you are putting on her back Caitlin will be like fresh meat among a pack of wolves

There is nothing like "Iowa nice" or "Minnesota nice". Those are the worst states for anyone to move to if you don't have ties there. Sure, they are nice to their coworkers, church members and relatives but VERY mean and unwelcoming to others. How are you "nice" if you are only nice to people who are close to you? Even Hitler was nice to his mistress, comrades and his close relatives, I would think. I have lived in the east coast, west coast, the south and the Midwest. Worst experience ever was in southern Minnesota! Could wait to get out from there! "Minnesota/Iowa nice" is a concept that the people who live in these two states throw around because they haven't lived in other states, so they have nothing to judge by, and foolishly believe that they are nicer than other parts of the country. I had significantly better experience in New York city even though I had no ties there at all. While living in southern Minnesota, everyone I met who did not have ties in these two states echoed the same sentiments of how very mean they are to outsiders. I was glad that their so called "niceness" was blown to smithereens with the George Floyd and Philander Castille cases. They are not only virulently racist to non-whites, but even white people I know who are from the east coast and the south felt the heat (mean attitudes) from the native Minnesotans and Iowans! Iowa/Minnesota nice my foot!

And they’ve been putting out positive statements about Caitlin ever since. That Fever GM better shut down that coach and better yet get another more qualified. Or else Indianapolis will be off the map faster than lightning. And there’s no rivalry between Caitlin and Taurosi. It’s between Taurosi and Taurosi. And I agree with you. I hope Taurosi gets the shock of her life.

Diana Taurasi COULD NOT put fannies in seats at both UConn and in the WNBA since being drafted # 1 in 2004. IMO, the "reality" DIana Taurasi is facing is that this year's WNBA rookie draft class is just the start of a new generation of talent that's coming into the league. The next three WNBA drafts in 2025, 2026 & 2027 will continue that trend. With the new talent of players coming, it could mean higher attendance, TV ratings, sponsorships and league revenue which could be a game changer for the WNBA and may mean an increase in players salaries.

Taurasi made thoughtless/stupid comments about Caitlin. One in particular was she'd been playing against 18 year olds. This shows Taurasi is not only jealous, but is an idiot for thinking we'd buy that line. Most 18 year olds will not be playing against a person of Clark's ability, nor to they get much court time (especially in important games) unless their team is well ahead and the coach puts them in for a part of the fourth quarter. Taurasi's comment was ill thought out, and childish. I'm not even a fan of basketball and I know better. I also know why I'm not a fan of b-ball, and it's because of loudmouths like Taurasi. But I'm a fan now because of Clark and the way the Fever have been treating her. I hope they clean Taurasi's clock for her. Maybe it'll run smoother afterward?
