    The coach isn't experienced, the stats say so much, the head coach should be studying, scouting individual players and their opponents success or weaknesses. That is the most valuable study the pattern of all phases and you should have several planned plays practices, not drawing only pretend to, it shows the lack of studies of the opponents. Find a seasoned coach and a few personal coaches you always have to coach in order to get the best from your players individually.

    Caitlin has been feeding Smith with some great passes when they're in together, her and Fagbenle seem to be the two that are prepared for her passes the most.

    The Indiana Fever are broken as a team. Every team has at least one enforcer. That person answers something like this in the flow of the game shortly after it happens. The message is sent. It does not happen again or there is a full-on brawl. You do not let people from other teams do this to your smallest player. That goes double when they are making your team and the league lots of money and have a chance of making your sport culturally relevant for the first time. WNBA players seem to be having the same issue most women seem to have. They tear each other down at every opportunity. The blindness is breathtaking.

    WTF! Carter says it was "THE HEAT OF THE MOMENT!?!?"....I would have given her the benefit of the doubt....BUT!!!!! THE BALL WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE FOR A PLAY!!!!!!!! Carters angered face and body language says ANGER! Then Carter says she DOESN'T REGRET IT!?!?!? And looking at her past where she has been dropped from WNBA for her anger and confrontation with other players, shows she has anger issues! And the coach says Carter understands!?!? I’d like to hear it from Carters mouth not the coach.

    Respect is fractured on this team. Where one would think it is just the head coaches issue it is not! The team needs a revamp, exchange of some players, and an organization that knows what it takes reset and rebuild, but rebuild quickly. Three years have already gone by and it seems like a regression instead of improvements. One or two talented players cannot run an offense with no strong reserves in the tank as other teams sub in and out a lot. Our subbing does not do a lot and chemistry mis-matched pairing seems like ants trying to get out of a maze. If general manager is ok with this and we just adopt another player or two, the Fever will be in same position next season. The real plumbline of measurement this season will be if they can close the gap on some teams and beat others they closely previously lost to. Same players…let’s see!

    What do you suppose they do? Hire a new WNBA coach? There are not alot of WNBA coaches and they know Fever aren't going anywhere this year so finish of the season with the coach. What is the worst that can happen, pick in the top 3 again. Fever does not have the talent to compete, I can see if they do but they don't. Sides is a stop fill coach, getting a coach to coach a team while acquiring players over the next few years, than hiring a real coach. You gotta remember Lin the manager took over a team like the Fever and got that team into 3 championships before.

  • @jordanlj1
    @jordanlj13 сағат бұрын

    @@Michael-of6zf The fever have competed in several close games. I think a better coach could make more of the current roster. I would fire Sides and Dunn , and find a interim solution.

    What ever happened to the ball i grew up with? Larry Bird said Kevin Mc Cail gave up the most in his role as a team mate. How about David Robinson stepping aside and letying Duncan grow into the player he became. I might be wrong , but if the teammates supported CC then they would all improve. Hit the 3, dpread the floor and go inside. Look at Clarks passing ability! As a former big that ran the floor i would have loved to run a fast break with someone who could pass like that. Swing the ball out fron and other guards get their chances also. Too much me in sports now, and Superman type poses. Wasn't brought up to play ball like that. Loved to bang down low, but was never cheap!

    What I don’t understand for the life of me: What the Heck is with CC “teammate” #7 doing - who doesn’t run over immediately and deliver a lesson to any opposing player taking shots at any of her teammates like she just had happen right in front of her! This crap isn’t going to stop until CC “teammates” start a few brawls! The Ref was also totally lame to not immediately eject that player for the assault. “Flagrant Fowl”, My Aunt Fanny! They want to play “Street Ball” against CC - then her “teammates” better say “Bring it On & Ya gonna deal with us.”

    When your player does 40%++ in deep 3 pointers. You have to make sure that she always has a screener or even 2 (as Golden State did with Steph) at any given moment. Defenses are collapsing on CC even in the half court zone.

    The coach and most of the players are going to go, and soon. They drafted someone that the coach never plays. Celeste Taylor is on the team, and never gets any minutes. Even if Caitlin wasn't good, she's 's the one most of the fans have come to see. However, she is good, they just need to figure out how to feature her more. Being a good player is not going to keep you on the team if you're not a fit for their star.

    As an Iowan, I was excited for Clark to continue her basketball career. That is impossible. Basketball is a negro league that does not want whites (Clark, Jovic, Doncic) just like white baseball that didn't want Jackie Robinson. I paid for one month of WNBA pass and it expired. I am out. Clark will not be able to last in the ghetto. The upside is whites are great at everything, blacks are only entertainers. Here is a few of our white hall of famers. James Naismith, Albert Einstein, Issac Newton, Elon Musk, The Beatles, Madonna, The Rolling Stones, Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino, Ron Howard, Ridley Scott, Peter Jackson, George Lucas, George Orwell, Steven King, Leo Fender, Orville, Gibson, Mark Twain, Caesar, Churchill, J.K. Rowling, JRR Tolkien, Dr. Seuss, Oscar Wilde, Issac Asimov, William Shakespeare, The Brothers Grimm, Louis Lumiere, Beethoven, Bach, Tesla, Bobby Fischer, Alexander Graham Bell, George Eastman, The Wright Brothers, Elvis Presley, Thomas Edison, Voltaire, Aristotle, Edgar Allen Poe, Charles Darwin, Leonardo da Vinci, Freud, Madam Curie, Jonas Salk, Edmund Haley, Kepler, Copernicus, Pythagoras, Blaise Pascal, Euclid, Galileo, Van Gogh, Michelangelo, Warhol, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Zuckerberg, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jeff Bezos, Steve Wozniak, Eli Whitney, Constantine, Bridget Bardot, Dante, Guglielmo Marconi, Samuel Morse, Charles Babbage, Samuel Colt, Louis Braille, Johannes Gutenberg, John Deere, Henry Ford, Archimedes, Charles Goodyear, James Watt, Allessandro Volta, George Simon Ohm, Andre-Marie Ampere, Heinrich Hertz, Michael Faraday, George Westinghouse, Carl Sagan, Max Planck, Edwin Hubble, James Web, Richard Feynman, Niels Bohr, James Clark Maxwell, Robert Hooke, Paul Dirac, J. Robert Oppenheimer, Martin Luther, Louis Pasteur, Humphry Davy, Picasso, Dali, Frank Gehry, Gustave Eiffel, and on and on and on. Whites are also great athletes but the blacks are racists.
