Someone asked me the other day, why is women’s basketball so popular now? Two things, 1. Caitlin and Reese brought back the old school rivalry that we love and both are really good players. 2. It came naturally to us, it wasn’t hyped before we saw it, 2. ESPN didn’t shove it down everyone’s throat and tell us it’s great when it’s not, the public came to the sport naturally because the game was good.

I'm a woman and a sports fan. Die hard packers fan, red sox fan, red wings fan, celtics fan. But even as a woman I never paid attention to the wnba or women's basketball in general. To me I thought it was boring. Last year has been the first time I've ever really kept an eye on women's basketball. Clark and Reese made it fun. Then I started to look further into it. I've been watching highlights and everything. Watched all the championships. And now for the first time ever I watched the wnba draft! I watch it religiously for the nfl but never this. It's crazy how interesting they've made it for me. Definitely gonna be fun to watch this coming up season! Congrats to Clark and all the young ladies that got drafted!

Caitlin Clark is going to be one of the young women who quite possibly save the WNBA from extinction. With what is going on right now has a bit of the feel of when Magic and Bird came out in 1979, there is a lot of hype and pressure on her right now. We can all agree that her upbringing will carry her through all of the garbage she will have to face, her humbleness just pours from her, she knows there will be haters and she will not allow them to really bother her. With her going to the Fever she will also have strong support there as her boyfriend works for the Indiana Pacers as well so she will have a strong anchor to help keep her level headed. Her parents should be very proud of her she is a direct reflection on them and they did an amazing job raising her. I am looking forward to seeing her play and I am not the biggest Women's Basketball fan but seeing what Caitlin Clark did over her career at Iowa tells me she is truly something special, and someone to watch.

God bless you guys this is the greatest show on earth! 🤘🔥
13:09 Pat was in Shock and Awe mode....LOL...And holy crap he made that shot AGAIN at the end of the video with the WNBA ball on the farthest hoop....
this young lady is so refreshing. she doesn't smile unless something is funny. imagine that. a real reaction from a real person.
Absolutely so proud of all her accomplishments
She’s classy and a reflection of great parenting 🏀🏀🏀 TY
More interested in WNBA than NBA now. There's so much to dislike about NBA between not playing defense, no effort, the egos, the refs = soft.

the WNBA is gonna have insane rivalries with Reese AND Cardoso now on the Sky. And Brink in LA. It's insane how well all the stars have aligned. And Bueckers staying another is gonna give hype still to college ball and next years' draft class. Also having 12 teams is easier to follow- they should expand to at least 16 though

What games do you watch ? They still play defense in the NBA. If they didn't play defense the scores would be way higher than they are. They definitely give effort especially in the playoffs. Most of you are just on some Karen type stuff and you don't even realize it. I'll be watching the NBA and WNBA.

The dad quote was amazing.
Loved this. The best part was not the interview but you guys breaking down Pat's shots.........I just became a Fever fan!
Love how she makes no excuses or acts like a victim like someone else. Glad Caitlin better
Amazing. Something has most certainly shifted. I love the Bird comparison. Totally.
Much respect for Caitlin and all of you for how you interviewed her and shout out to her parents. And the 3 pt and 4 pt 🔥
The future Larry Bird of the WNBA was on your show. Congratulations, gentlemen. 👊
Welcome to the city. So happy we got this beast. Indianapolis is on the up and up.
I don’t watch women cb, don’t watch wnba. But the idea that she’s inspiring people, could almost single handed completely change an organization. Her talent will benefit so many. I hope she has an incredible career.
I was on the Fever's website yesterday, 4/18, and four of their away games have already been moved to bigger arenas because of the demand for tickets on the road. At least 2 of them will be played in NBA arenas. What a deal.
The fastest “Deal” I’ve ever seen lol
❤😂forgot to sign the jersey. cheers cant wait to watch her rise and career
So impressed by how Caitlin is handling all the attention. Good for her for taking full advantage of the opportunity to bring a spotlight on women's basketball. Although I'm not sure how I feel about the weekly spots. Don't get me wrong, it will be awesome having her on the show so much, but I hope it doesn't result in people getting tired of her. She already faces so much hate just from people who don't want to see her succeed. I hope that her being in the spotlight doesn't make this any worse. It will also bring up what every athlete with a prominent media presence faces; some people will question how committed she is to the sport, even though any reasonable person knows that this idea of a "distraction" isn't real. Regardless, Caitlin has already shown how strong and mature she is as an athlete and a human, so I know she will handle anything that gets in her way with class and come out on top.

I get what you mean. I think a good balance is important but for now, this is probably very good for the WNBA to build hype for the upcoming season. I'd love to see some more interviews featuring Angel Reese so when Chicago and Indiana play, it will be Magic vs Bird.

There's nothing wrong with her doing a weekly spot on this particular show. She has to be in front of a microphone when she's playing, every commercial or 1/2time or the end of the game. She's IN commercials now, and did a visit on SNL. She's the talk of the sports world, along with the other women BB players. She Is very intelligent, very talented. She needs other things in her life besides BB. She needs diversity. Everyone does.
The way he started talking to the homies after she left had me crying 😂😂😂 love pat man 😂😂
That’s the Caitlyn Clark effect for Pat draining back to back shots 😂
I don’t know if in 4 years she will be the best player in the league. But given what she is doing for the WNBA she will deserve to be top paid player.

"Bad drivers." LOL! Ain't that the truth. I hate going to Indy from Iowa to visit my brother-in-law. Stay away from downtown. Haha.
glad to discover this channel! love what you're doing here! just subscribed.
She's awesome!!
I like how like she explains things, like it makes sense ya know
Pat casually draining BOTH shots on only the 2nd try is actually 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
A Clark from Iowa playing in Indianapolis just seems right after the last one worked out very well
