@@killbuzzj I think it's more a mistake than a lie. I'm about his age, maybe a couple of years younger but not by much. When I joined the Navy, we were still flying SKYRAIDERS off the birdfarms (carriers to you sandcrab landlubbers) and F-14s were still in development. Maybe he IS older than I (and Grandpa Buff,) F4U Corsairs did fly CAS in Korea and early Vietnam IIRC with the A-1 Skyraider / Spad becoming the flying dumptruck of choice for the "Sandy" missions with the USAF, USN and South Vietnamese. The Military Air Museum here in Virginia Beach has flying examples of Corsair & Skyraider in USN markings and they are awesome!

That's not legally a possibility. More than two decades ago Congress realized exactly what had been created and quickly passed a federal law prohibiting the export of F22's to any other nation. That law is still on the books and would require Congress to pass a new law to repeal it before negotiations to export them could even begin. The F22 is one of the very few weapons we have absolutely no interest in selling - ever. That's what we built the F35 for, it's more civilized and less terrifying which makes it acceptable to export to close allies.

But we could easily put some sort of a remote kill switch on Raptor if the regime in Poland went sour then they would have a hunk of junk that they could do Jack Shit with. . The irony is politically I support Russia in this because opposition to deep State actions in Ukraine, but to me it is perfect for deterrence because balance must be maintained...

Yeah, when things went from just needing Netflix to suddenly needing Netflix, Hulu, Paramount+, random bullshit, and the Evil Mouse one, I knew we were just remaking cable but the companies sell your data. I mean you used to be able to get by with one or two services, but now you need at least three or four just to get all the things you want to watch, and you end up spending about the same amount as cable ever since the prices went up, while still having commercials for a lot of them.

Poor Raptor...if the US comes out with a 6th gen fighter and that fighter actually gets to kill something that isn't a balloon, we'll hear the kid's scream across all of space and time. I swear to god that the angels in Heaven will hear it and go "What the fuck is that noise?!" The Thunderscreech and every cicada on Earth will bow to the Raptor and make him their king. Gen1 Starscream is an F-15, the movie version is the F-22.

​@@SonsOfLorgar To my knowledge Starscream has in different generations taken the form of the F-15, F-16, F-22, what I can best describe as a "stylized Flanker" (most likely the Su-37 prototype), and various sci-fi space fighter designs. Overall the F-15 is the most common among the designs based on real-world aircraft.

According to multiple sources, currently in Gaza the ratio is 1:2-4 depends on the source. But even 1:4 is more than twice better than expected. The way I see it, the Raptor is being demoted not replaced. All the planes below him are allowed to go on missions and do stuff, while Raptor is stuck in a hangar. Once they find a newer, better, far more expensive plane to sit in that hangar forever and do nothing, then Raptor will finally get the chance to do his thing and be an actual combat aircraft. Basically what I'm saying is that bro has a desk job, and the best thing for him would be to bust his ass down to private and capture a brain bug.
