im a ucla fan, and when i watched this, my first reaction was rage and disbelief, but i cant help but admire BYU for blocking that kick up the middle the better team won, simple as that

ucla was playing there 4 string qb in this game , but still all credit to byu , and the defenses both played great . GO BRUINS

The Vegas Bowl is our one chance to see actual quality Division 1 football here in Las Vegas each year. This was one of the best ones, made it worth freezing our rear ends off for almost 4 hours.

When we played them the first time our stats were way better than theirs but we blew it with turn overs. So now its even. One last game to decide it all this year in 08! Go cougs!

i was there at that game. when they started the kick, i was like, going nuts because i thought they were going to lose, they missed the goal, and i was like, "HOLY CRAP!!! YEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!" it was an intense game.

U0537150 and tnor1091, a college team has a life of 2 or 3 years, this isnt the NFL where you can "build" a team, either you got it or you dont. and you forget to look at the fact that we pulled our first string out and our 3rd string almost out scored our 1st string, read the depth charts, look to see who was running, catching/throwing in the 2nd half, you cant blame your loss on not having healthy players blame your lack of depth, we killed you with our 3rd string too!

bowl games: 4-2 2007 5-0 2008 if you think this was bad, then look at utah - alabama sugar bowl 2009. at least ucla had a chance to win.

i was at the game, i seem to remember a lot of dirty play coming from your byu "christian" lineman, choking bruce davis out with an elbow in the 1rst half, what was that all about. he basically kicked your behinds in this game, you almost lost to a injury riddled team with a walkon 4th string QB....you were humbled....you should thank your god that this huge line man was lucky enough to stick his hand in the air for the block.

heygamepunkster: we finished 5th in a REAL conference. BYU would be a nice 4th place team in the PAC 10.....you are not Utah under Urban Meyer & all of your Detmer teams were frauds (ie. some Florida team stomping your lights out every bowl game fraud). so don't even got there with the UCLA does suck madness....you beat a team w/o a head coach and most of our first string skill players on the shelf.
