    And this was the final straw for me. The word Christian is too closely connected to racism sexism and homophobia for me to feel comfortable being associated anymore with that label. Whatever it is that “Christians” are these days they are not followers of Christ’s teaching anymore. Sorry gramma, but if you were still alive I like to believe you would understand.

    Damn so many butthurt Christians crying in these comments. Crazy how they keep saying that Christians aren't like this but then you, you know, exist in the world. And they absolutely are like this. Saying they "hate the sin, not the sinner" like it's not the same fuckin thing in practise. Hate isn't just a feeling. It's an action. And Christians' actions have been extremely hateful to the queer community. To any Christians reading this and getting upsetti spaghetti, if you are not personally hateful or invalidating of queer people, cool. This isn't about you. But you can't say "real" Christians don't behave this way because it's simply not true. Who makes you the authority on what a "real" Christian is?

    Exactly. If they can say 'oh, it's just the actions we disagree with' then they can make an argument about choices. 'If you're still continuing to sin, even while knowing better, you deserve what you get.' Even though being LGBT+ isn't a sin, and even if it were, a sin defined by who? Christians don't realize Rome, the system Jesus was trying to bring down, basically took over Christianity.

    Once upon a time, people did standup comedy, and before that one-man theatre shows, and before that told stories to others around a campfire. People have always been telling stories by pretending to be a multitude of people. Skits and stories and roleplay is not the same as a mental illness that causes one to talk with themself (or their hallucinations) - and neither is people on a call with others via a bluetooth headset, or someone just muttering to themself. To imply that Austin would be 'crazy' without a camera is not a compliment, and to ridicule people who struggle with hallucinations and compulsions like that is not as witty as you think.

    What? Interesting that a lot of those crazy people you are mentioning also seemed to carry around signs with Jesus written on them. While we are on the topic, sermons in empty churches also seem bizarre. While this video seems a lot more like what happens when one films a television show. They also made those before bluetooth.

    Yeah you’re totally right. Christians aren’t constantly reminding everyone in the world about their shitty homophobic beliefs. I just made that up. In the real world where you live Christianity is super accepting of queer people and not at all the number one cause of queer oppression. In the real world it’s actually progressives and leftists that are persecuting queer people and the christians are just trying to protect them. Like… do you hear yourself when you talk?? 😂

    I wish religious communitied and secular communities would just leave each other alone. There is nothing wrong with being queer and people should be allowed to do whatever they want. BUT, christians have commandment they need to follow. These laws were not created by some homophobic secret cult. There were set in place by a higher power. And a righteous christian should follow these commandments. Can you be queer and be christian? Absolutely. Does that make you a RIGHTEOUS christian tho?. NO. I sin all the time and it does not make any less of a christian. The only problem is that people have to accept that certain things are sinful in Gods eyes and there is no changing that. People from the LGBTQ community should be able to go to churches without judgment and should be treated like everyone else because we are all sinners. With time God will be the one to set them on the right path not some pastor or pope criticising them about thier way of life.

    Your entire religion is just a way that ancient people used to cope with the brutality of life and the fear of death. Death is a lot less scary if you believe that death isn't the end and that your soul will live on in this perfect place (heaven) with a parental creator who loves them. They're made-up stories, no more real than Greek mythology, and to believe anything else is pure arrogance. Imagine thinking a human can actually have accurate knowledge of a divine being who is completely invisible and undetectable in any way. I regret to inform you that you were indoctrinated. You won't listen though. Christians are trained to close their eyes and put their hands over their ears whenever someone challenges their worldview. As an ex-Christian, I hope you actually examine your beliefs rather than living your life on blind faith.

    I am a Christian. We do not hate anyone. God calls us to love one another, no matter what. We have all sinned. No one is better than anyone else. We have all broken God's laws. God sent His only Son to die an agonizing death on a cross to be a perfect atoning sacrifice for the sins of the world because He loves each and every person more than we could ever fathom, know, or understand. It is only by the grace and mercy of Christ through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and resurrection from the dead that we are saved. I DO NOT hate anyone because like I said we have all sinned. And without God's loving sacrifice, grace, and mercy I would be eternally suffering and separated from Him. But thank God that He loves both you and me unconditionally to the point that He would sacrifice His only Son on a cross, so that none may perish but rather have eternal life with Jesus in heaven. It is by grace and mercy through faith alone that we have been saved so that none may judge or boast. God loves you and me more than we could ever know. He died for you so that you could have eternal life in Him. Will you accept this free gift of eternal life, freedom, and peace in Christ by turning from your sin, confessing it, and having faith and belief in Christ to save you? He will forgive you if you call on His name. I do not hate anyone. I love all because all people are loved unconditionally by God and they were created by Him; He died for them to have salvation, same as He did for me, so that is why I love people. I DO NOT hate the sinner because we all make mistakes and all have sinned. I do hate sin, evil, or things that break God's laws because that is what God calls us to do and because sin separates us from Him and leads to death and destruction if we do not ask God for forgiveness of sins and turn from sin. I will be praying for you all. I hope and pray you accept Christ and I hope this gives you some clarity on what Christians believe and why we have eternal hope in Jesus. Is there anything in particular I can be praying for you about?     So, bullying children, banning books, interfering with the relationship between a woman and her doctor, interfering with any loving adult relationship, poking your noses into people's bedrooms, and under little girls skirts, and little boys pants, (but not under the priest's or preacher's)calling in bomb threats to childrens hospitals, harrasung medical providers, segregating your children in religiius schools and homeschooling, denying scientific advancement in knowledge and methods, suborning democracy at local, state, and national levels, ...this is Christian love.
