Animations are so much better than D3. Character finally use weapons for attack instead of sheating them for like 1 second of animation. I never liked it just like in WoW.

Fire Sorc looked really interesting with the Fireball enchantment. Will be interesting to see what builds are going to be more suited to group leveling/play too. Didn't get to try firewall in 1st weekend so will try this weekend.

These quick 2min videos are a nice example of how things work without going into every aspect of a build.

I also started out with a burn build, just alittle different. Went with incinerate with 20%dmg reduction, ice Armor, firewall, hydra with burn dmg, and fire ulti with no mana cost for the duration. Went with weapon legendary who gives +40% burn dmg for the duration of incinerate, could have squeezed in a frost nova there too. But it did crazy amounts of single target and aoe dmg, especially with stacking +dmg over time. I also made a lighting sorc build and it is crazy, i love this game already Edit: changed 20% burn to 40% cus of staff legendary and not wand

I tried firewall, blizzard, hydra, and chain lightning, and it worked decently in dungeons where you could funnel mobs through doors.

Just waiting to try Druid then was gonna do a fire sorc and test necro. Im most interested to see if pet pathing is better.

I found fireball to be too hard to give up because of its enchantment power. Everything sploding for fireball damage when it dies is so strong. With hydra, frost nova, teleport and flame shield. Flame shields damage and heal felt great. When I was in a party and had someone to be a meat shield and keep things off me I swapped frost nova for firewall for more damage from well outside melee range.

i went full fire wall and glass cannon i can tick for 700+ dmg firewall on bosses and elites if i get to ramp up

I loved firewall. Ran Firewall+Hydra and just melted everything. Boss or mob didn't matter. This was prior to learning about the busted stuff like ice blades resets and barriers being kinda insane which I imagine would make it even stronger.

Sadly firewall just isn't the same as it was in Diablo 1, it was so amazing back then. But i am very happy with my forst nova + ice shard in enchantment slot combo that is very busted on everything except bosses.

@@noxfelis5333 Ice shards is super fun! It was probably my favourite gameplay wise. I did a blizzard+Ice Shards build. Super cool. Literally.

Balls to the walls! I was of the feeling fireball is superior. You flame shield with 50% mana reduction node. On top of mob because you are immune, they burn from flame shield. You pump 50% cost fireballs into mobs face, then when oom you pop the fire snake ult. Ult with the free pyromancy skills you then pump more fireballs. Fireball adds direct dmg equal to the mob's burning.

Sup Wudijo, Enjoying the DIV coverage. I made a Firewall Sorc in the beta and got it up to 1,076 Attack power. With the Firewall and Ice armor mana regen perks and some mana cost reduction on you gear, you actually don't need a generator at all. you can just throw Inferno with it's support perks on there. Feel free to check out my YT for 2 boss-killing demo vids back when my attack power was 800 ish and I was still hunting a little bit of gear. I got boss kills down to roughly 4-5 seconds after. If I wanted to be more aoe clear I'd use the popcorn "Fireball that I level'd for enhancement slot" or I would use the 5 headed Hydra enhancement for insane boss clearing or World Bossing

Firewall sorc was my least favorite way to play, compared to what else is in the toolbox with the class.

i used flame shield and fireball instead of tele and your ice skills and didnt feel bad playing if you wanted pure fire just use the dash more

firewall enchant not worth it ... better use fireball with explosion when mobs die

firewall proc rate just seemed too low to me, very rarely got the extra walls, i think it needs a rework

I thought so too. I dont think firewall enchantment will come anywhere near fireballs power until higher difficulty where things live long enough for it to proc more consistently. Probably needs to be used in a group too so someone is grouping adds up for you to drop firewalls on. At any level where stuff dies fast fireball will win big time. That will drop significantly the longer things live.

Funke mal anschauen. Der BurstDMG + AOE-DMG is schon übel.

I think it works best as a utility skill honestly. There's a node that increases mana regeneration and a node that increases the burning damage the target takes by 25%. My favorite thing to do with it was throw it in the middle of Inferno.

Dot can't crit so far, it will be shit endgame

The datamines showed a paragon node that increases burning damage by a % of your crit damage based on the amount of int you have. The damage should scale just fine, especially considering that there are actual DOT gems that work in all situations, while the crit gem has conditions for when it applies.
