All I can say is I REALLY WANT TO FIRE THAT 249 AGAIN!! I really miss being a 249 gunner. Especially since it was on someone else's dime.

Watched this vid when it first came out... I ordered an LBT QRC V2 plate carrier today, so I figured I better have some plates for it. So I ordered 2 of these. Should be a great setup to LARP around the house in my boxers. 😂

The lack of perceived recoil on that 249 is sweet.... But she is a hefty girl!
Hello, a subscriber here. I like how you explain your self and how put thoughts into perspective, and thanks for sharing. This plate was knowledgeable because I'm in hunt for a plate. Can you please do a "protective/ballistic/bullet-resistant" vest comparison. Which vest would you prefer and why? And would you use this plate with that/those vests, or another plate and why? In another words, best vest with best plate and why? Like you explain with the guns. Thanks in advance. Kind and warm regards.🙏

Love your videos. 2 questions, do you believe that the suppressors you were using will reduce the velocity of the round you're using in testing. Second question is if you were to only be able to afford one plate would you put it on the front or rear of your body armor?
@GioGuitarDude
Жыл бұрын
@@Dkoarn I doubt suppressors have any effect on velocity at all. Once the bullet is out of the barrel, there’s no gas seal behind it to continue pushing the bullet forward. It might push it a fraction of a FPS faster, if that.
@GioGuitarDude
Жыл бұрын
@TheMasada05 Well said! That’s still very surprising though. I’ve seen slow-mo footage of gas escaping faster than the bullet before and after the bullet leaves the barrel, but I didn’t think that the gas would have enough thrust out in the open to make any measurable difference on the bullet velocity since the seal is gone. I guess it makes sense though.

Which one are your favorite level 4 plates?

Wish it was just a tad bit lighter. I'm running 5.5lb L210s, and even those are kinda heavy after you wear them more than a few hours a day. 7.5lbs is borderline. Wonder if it's worth it for the increased protection.
@BuffRANGE
Жыл бұрын
There's a fine balance between light weight and actual protection. L210s are really only a 5.56 plate, vs most level IVs can handle so much more.

I love you, bro, and I've been here since the get go. If you really want to impress us instead of shilling armor, you need to hit it hard, the way we want to see it hit. Liberty Civil Defense from a duty / combat length barrel. Or 22-250 caliber from a rifle. Show me a plate that stops either of those and I might be interested in buying it. When it can stop "hole punchers" like these, you'll have my attention. Aside from that, great video as always. Just something to think about.

shilling armor? How is that possible? Thanks...
Too many plates that weight 5lbs or less to be fooling with nearly 8lb plates. Cool video though man thanks for making it
See you have an Sfar but no Sfar review. You didn't like it or haven't finished the review on it? All other reviewers left me unsatisfied and doubtful.
