Thanks, Sir, for explaining the process of property tax assessment clearly. Seeking your kind clarification on my issue/query. My house was constructed in 1991. The property tax was assessed based on ARV.. I have been paying the tax till this year with 5%, increase. I have constructed an additional floor (first floor measuring 119 Sq mt) through legal manner in 2023. I got building permit, thereafter, completion certificate, occupancy certificate, now submitted return for assessing property tax for this additional construction of first floor). My query is Whether I am liable to pay only property tax for the newly added first floor on plinth area basis or the total plinth area of existing ground floor and addition of first floor. Please help in this regard and clarify my query , Sir. Sorry for inconveniences caused to you?
