I’m really loving the extra projects at Monica’s and Alicia’s. It’s inspiring to see what can be done with smaller spaces! And I love seeing the sisters together. It warmed my heart when Monica said, “it’s just gorgeous!” Thanks Laura for taking us along and for being a great sister!

The birds will love the fountain too! (I suggested to a a gardener who has a birdbath to add cayenne pepper to her birdseed feeder, and she is loving the birds that visit every day to eat and drink and bathe.) Just love Monica's garden design!

@@jerriecook6908 Cayenne pepper keeps the squirrels from "stealing" the birdseed. Squirrels cannot bear hot pepper of any kind but birds are not bothered by it. My friend is overjoyed to see happy birds visiting her garden, and repelling squirrels at the same time is an extra bonus!

Laura - everyone should have a sister like you and Monica! Her garden and beautiful yard look great and it's only the beginning. Will look forward to see it in the future as it matures. I would love to win a House Link for my 71 yes old husband Charlie. He has Chronic Kidney Disease and suffers with fatigue. If Monica wants to keep the copper caps the copper color, she will need to paint them with polyurathane. We found this out with the top of our new mailbox post. It tarnished fairly quickly, so we replaced it and sprayed it with poly. Voila! It is still the copper color. BTW... Monica's new raised beds are gorgeous!! Great job ladies.

Can’t tell you how much I can relate to this video! My husband and I built our home on 1 acre of cleared farm land, a soy bean field, 33 years ago. At the first party we had, someone asked who was supposed to bring the shade? Just this week, I have been working on a DIY slate and gravel patio with a fire pit near our back deck. Although we do have mature trees now, they are mostly on the perimeter of the yard. My husband set up the 12x12 pop up tent to give me shade, too. 😜

Hat, sunglasses and gloves. Monica is a girl after my own heart.

It is such a pleasure watching Laura and Monica working together. Wonderful sister relationship! Brought a real smile seeing Benjamin helping with the project too.
