Building a Warm and Cozy Winter Shelter, living in a forest house
This is my new forest house project. It took 2 months to build this house. I built all this alone), my new forest bunk turned out to be very beautiful and cozy, I spent time there with pleasure. Have a nice viewing!

Well done Alex, glad to see young people enjoying their lives and doing something productive. I’m an older woman and wish when my father who was a master carpenter tried to teach me how to build I would have stopped and listened. Great job!

To QT - zr. Until I was about 15 years old, our family didn't have much money, until my father earned more later on. Same next door They didn't have much money till later on. So my mother, and her neighbour, Greta, went to evening classes, and learnt to make half our furniture! I expect you would have liked to join them!
I have seen other forest houses where they pile soil on top of the plastic roof sheeting to holds it down from being ripped off in high winds, and it looks natural. Its a nice build, Well done.

A few building flaws...lol I would have made the roof extend out over the entrance to keep the snow from piling at the door. Also would have been wise to make a window/vent of some sort. Really great build and watch. Very relaxing.

Ich hätte mehr Alufolie an die Wände im Eck gemacht und oben am Rohr Schutzwolle ans Rohr für Brandschutz und einen CO Warner in die Hütte. Doppelt so breit gebaut und ein etwas besserer Ofen, dann könnte ich so etwas gut gebrauchen als Versteck für schlechte Zeiten. Tolle Arbeit !!

Вообще довольно опасно с огнем Не все продумано и вход в домик тоже ненадежный Под воздействием дожя снега и ветра земля будет осыпатся и засыпет вход Надо сделать навес и укрепить деревом вход перед домом

Great job and looks super. Only thing I would have done different is to vent the chimney out a sidewall not thru the roof. Then again that is easy for me to say after all your hard work.

Hola el refugio queda bien pero la espuma que le has puesto entre la madera es super inflamable y es muy peligrosa, también deberías hacerte un tejado delante de la puerta para que no se te moje la entrada, bueno faltan cositas pero si tu estás agusto pues todo bien, para hacerla toda a mano sin apenas usar la motosierra lo hiciste muy rústica, un saludo desde España 🇪🇸

the first big mistake was not staggering the length of the floor boards, maybe one extra joist under the floor would make this happen, it looks so bad and cheap to have stright joints for the length of the room, staggered joints are the way to go, stronger and so much better looking.

Awesome job, a buddy had similar setup with his wood stove, and almost had a cabin fire, I would add some stone on the floor so it doesn’t get too hot. Great job though man

Chào bạn! Ngôi nhà trong rừng của bạn cực kì ấn tượng với kiểu thiết kế vô cùng mới lạ và độc đáo: Mái nhà và tường bao xung quanh hoàn toàn bằng gỗ của chính nơi đó. Một kiểu nhà nửa chìm, nửa nổi vừa chắc chắn, vừa độc đáo lại rất ấm cúng. Thích nhất là chiếc giường tự thiết kế được đặt gần lò sưởi, còn gì thú vị hơn khi trời rét buốt ở giữa rừng mà ta lại có một ngôi nhà nhỏ xinh cùng chiếc giường và chiếc lò sưởi đỏ rực,nhâm nhi một tách cà phê nóng... Biết gọi bạn bằng danh từ nào cho đúng đây: Nhà thám hiểm, nhà du lịch,hay một kiến trúc sư tài ba...?

Very impressive build, especially the fact you did it with basic hand tools for the most part. Two things that you might want to improve is your chimney so that I can't shoot sparks, some sort of a cap on it with a screen or something, I'm afraid it's going to catch your roof on fire. Also perhaps there are no bears where you are so it might not be an issue, but I was thinking you might want to beef up your door latch, especially since you're cooking inside, I don't think it would take much for a bear to break through with the current latch.
