    I can’t blame you guys for using pavers considering the level of effort required to make a proper foundation, but after four years I bet it’s not perfectly level anymore.

    The black layer is the same material as the top layer - a Birch plywood Grade BB - it is only black as we put a black weather proof coating on that bottom layer. The top layer / riding surface on this Ramp has a clear weather proof coating on it.

    I guess you mean the under surface, this is Birch Plywood (grade BB/BB) - in this video it is painted with a smooth black masonry paint to add extra protection from the weather. In the other parts we have used a clear decking wood preserver.. This grade of Birch Ply is good outdoors compared to normal plywood but it is always best to add extra protection for any plywoods that will be outside.

    I know you guys are trying to simplify things by only needed a drill to build your ramps but setting the coping that way is far from ideal.
