Well done to all the craftsmen that built this. Wooden bowls are a thing of beauty when done right and this crew certainly did it proper! A few things I love about this time laps build; The skating when the first layer goes down. The flash of a smashed or screwed into finger. The time you can tell it takes to get the final layer petals just right. And the hug at the end after a work of art is created (and is just beginning it's true life). Great job!

It's guess and check. After years of doing it you look at it get it close and fine tune. Once you get it the angle remains the same for the most part.

Im planning to make my own and i would love to grind the side but i cant figure out how to bend the metal pole that should go on the rim of the bowl

A safe bet would be 3/4 inch sides 1/2 inch bottom layer transition 1/4 inch top layer transition Skatelite finish
