Instead of bolts, weld it together. I welded it and made it tight or close to the wheel.

Not sure i understand but you would easily be able to splice the new one into the old one wiring to run both. Should be ok as the led has little draw

I havent had an issue but i live in rural area and take it easy through town and be nice when pulled up as it is modded and so i gotta cop it on the chin if pulled over. So far no issues

Cut them off and capped them

Go for it in Vic i just got a bobber custom made & was told it is such a grey area of how the law really is it may not be worth the hassle from cops. If you check my channel i went without & still regret it. cheers iRidetas

Yeah its grey area here too! If i get pulled up about it i reckon it will come off. Pity cause they look great!

Could you reverse the mounting plates so the license tag is vertical? Would look much cleaner imo.

Yes you could but imo it looks better horizontal!

So you can’t put saddlebags on with this right? Definitely a trade off if you’re not able to put any bags on :/

Stylistically im not sure saddlebags go with what i was doing but i cant see why you couldnt put them on as the side mount comes off the axle!
