    It might sound stupid, but that side cover belt, combined with the "rusty" look of the cover, and the rough military bag on the other side makes the whole bike look total badass! it looks like some kind of "lone survivor" bike, something you could ride across the wasteland in a post-apocaliptic scenario... really cool, man! :)

    +L G yup thats the look i was going for. On my xvs1100 was after a lower sprung look so went the torsion springs and that looks lower! Thanks. A garage helps but nothing here has been done with complex tools and coukdnt bd done in a driveway! Cheers mate thank you!

    OldManTony Good point, I'd rather have longer stems and see behind me. Each to their own, but safety comes before looks and I'm not so sure about his mod!

    Can you add a fuel gauge and rpm gauge ??

    You could put an external fuel guage down the side of the tank of clear hose and bungs welded on. Rpm guage not sure havent looked into where you would connect it to. Google it mate!
