In today's video we return to Buckland Level Crossing just on the Auckland border which has been fully upgraded because of the electrification work between Papakura & Pukekohe otherwise known as the P2P.

I think that is certainly a huge improvement over the original level cossing set up, Those Griswold barrier mechs looked nacked. Also I know I've said this before, But I definitely support KiwiRail's move to have all corners covered with extra lights and e-bells, Because if they end up being put on the quite setting later on, They would be better heard and seen, Paekakariki being an example of why I think this is a good move. Lastly, Pleased they have finally started adding release buttons to all new installations to prevent level crossing abuse.

I 100% agree, I think they should definitely do that at Paekakariki at some point if they ever install the pedestrian gates there too.
Cool video, the crossing changed a lot since you last went there. I just don't get why it has 6 E-Bells?
