Teeny is as beautiful now as she was cute as a baby and yearling. And Bubble has much energy that she makes me tired, LOL. Thank you AM for your devotion to these amazing animals. They are such a joy to watch.

I love seeing Teeny again. She is beautiful. When I saw her walking up the road, I said, "there's Teeny". I have watched her since she was a baby and she will always be a favorite of mine.

Martha must be exhausted. Bubbles is a mischievous bundle of energy. It's nice to know Martha has Bubbles to keep her young.

If you watch again you will notice that Bubble was following that large, older male! Makes me wonder if maybe he is her Papa, grandfather or Uncle perhaps? She lost track of him when he went down the hill by those stairs. Makes me wonder if maybe he is her Papa, grandfather or a beloved, loving Uncle perhaps? When Martha saw that the older male had left the roadside and Bubble did not follow him down, she immediately went to where Bubble was. I am surprised that AM did not even mention that Bubble was obviously sticking close to him and wasn't venturing off by herself when he stopped to rest along the way! I wonder who he is? Reminded me of the way that so many of the babes always stuck so close to Grandee!

Exactly! Im truly intrigued watching them in their real setting seeing the comparisons to us naturally not being forced to pretend their human

Hi Sally Sorrentino. Like you I hate seeing monkeys out of their natural setting when they should be frolicking in the forest with their own kind, right? Have you been to "The Vervet Monkey Foundation" site yet? They rescue tiny orphaned baby monkeys in S. Africa and they get a foster monkey mom and troop then are released into the protected "Vervet Forest". They are so darling and you are obviously an animal lover so I think you'll love watching the videos to see little ones progress each week. It's the baby season now so they're pretty busy! Say hi when you get there lol :)

I am so thankful that you helped Teeny turn things around when she really was teeny. We were all so worried about her. Just look at her now! ❤🐒❤

Teeny was my first exposure to Monkey Hill and I have never forgotten the images of the tiny baby having to forage crumbs off the asphalt. Heart breaking especially when her own mom the stole the little she had right out of her mouth.

When I was 2 I walked a mile to the little market by myself. Terrified my family. So, Bubble I get it. More power to you. She does seem to be tracking her father.

Bubble is getting more confident every day. She reminds me of the Energizer Bunny! Atleast Martha doesn't hover or smother Bubble now. Great to see Teeny again. She has come a long way, since she was a baby with Tina. A.M., thank you for helping her along the way. I hope that Teeny will always greet you the way that she does now. I agree 100%spirit hunter! Have you been to "The Vervet Monkey Foundation" yet? I love the way Martha gives Bubble some autonomy while still keeping one eye on her. Teeny is still very special and enjjoy seeing her at any time. I hope that we see some kind of relationship with her and Dopey in the future.

I don't know. She refused milk to some of her offspring which is normal if the baby is sickly or if food supplies are scarce. Bobbin and Bobette were both very small. Bobette was weak and maybe too weak in Martha's eyes. She died at ~2 weeks old. Bobbin died at ~2 months old. Not sure why he died, I forget. So, it's hard to really judge Martha. Bubbles was a big healthy determined baby. Martha just had no choice. Lol

BUBBLE STILL NEEDS AN ESCORT TO GO EXPLORING. The speed of the cars is too great.

Rewatching and it’s interesting how curious she is about mom’s male friend. She sticks pretty close to him for a while.

Monkeys inc. said Tiny has been outed from Skull Heads troop in~ late 2022 or early 2023. He was filmed hanging out with another older male called Simba. He has not yet been accepted into a bachelor troop or any other troop. Furthermore, he has been seen hanging out near Lowina's troop. So, he may be accepted into this troop. I wish he would try out for Bossy's troop. :) The feeders know Tiny and are looking out for him. Hopefully we will be updated on his journey as an adult male macaque.

I always wonder, if way back in Martha’s genetic pool, where the lion, was introduced, as she always seems to sport quite a mane of thick fur around her head, lol and just what type coffee, is served in the Monkeydom Cafe, as it seems Martha’s milk is infused with some pretty good caffeine, as it keeps Bubbles, in constant perpetual motion! (She’s way too adorable and way too smart!💕)

Thank you for this extra wonderful wideo with Bubble and Martha and others. what a wonderfull little monkey she is and has just the right calm mother. I see forward to her growing and how she will be as a mother one day. Thank you Arroz ❤

I love how adventurous Bubble is. It did appear a few times that she followed the male that Martha was grooming earlier and then another male. While this is a different troop, Grandee had a following of young girls. Do you think it is possible that young females, like the male Martha was grooming or the other male, son of Skull Head, as "role models". Grandee was an exceptionally tolerant male and loved his little girls. It was just a thought I had as I watched Bubbles on her exploration! Food for thought!

The male Martha was grooming was Edwin. He is a battle torn warrior if I remember correctly. The male Bubbles was following was Freddie, also called Fat Boy. Monkeys Inc said he is extremely gentle, one of the feeders' favorite males. I have noticed yearlings seem to hang around older males. My guess is for protection and their food droppings. Teeny did this often with Ethan (we think is her father) and Nathan (described as the lower ranking members manager). She was also seen taking droppings from other males. I believe Starry loved Brody and was often seen with him. Taggy also has his girl groupies. This behavior may happen more than we see on film. I find it interesting. AM doesn't film the older males much. This Tinky and Barry thing. What's that? Barry sure does love Tinky. Tinky gets his protection, grooming, food droppings and friendship. He also gets to learn what big boys do by following Barry around everywhere. Lol

I just love seeing Teeny. I remember how tiny and frail she was and now look at her 🥰

Martha is just cool, watching her “soaps” knowing her kid is safe in the neighborhood.

I hope Teeny breaks the bad chain of of her family of stealing the food 😢 right out of their babies mouths. There is always hope... Della

Absolutely correct, they are beautiful playing in nature hanging out on the tree's. Where they were meant to be and also with there mom's and troop members not in a diaper and wearing clothes. Also thank you for bringing awareness about the cruelty of monkeys. I have watched some of your videos about what is being done to monkeys in Cambodia, savanna troop, and horrible things the Vos has done to countless other little monkeys like Ale , and Bridget monkey's baby, heck I can't even remember all the names because there has been so many . But your videos did reach some people and helped them to see the evil those people are doing, just wanted to say thank you again

Thats good old Freddy (aka Fat Boy)! He is one of the feeders' favorite males. He is known to be very gentle. I think her dad is Edwin, the male Martha is grooming because she looks a lot like him. As she ages her facial features may tell us. Both Freddy and Edwin are old males.

Teenie will never forget how good uncle Arroz was to her when she was a baby 25:30 I don’t think she cares that much about the monkey in your Lens ,she just wants to be close to you ans show you that she cares🥰

This has got to be one of the most enjoyable videos I've watched. From Bubble's potentially disastrous overly confident exploration to Teeny's seemingly never ending interest in AM's camera lens. Bubble's has got to be one of the exceptions to the rule regarding a baby monkeys confidence level when fairly young. How she didn't get ruffed up by some of the juvenile and adult monkeys she encountered on the way is beyond me. I hope her luck holds out for the rest of her formative years as I don't see her ever being lacking in the confidence department. LOL! Teeny's prolonged curiosity regarding the camera lens seems to be a bit "outside the box" for young monkeys too. Does she ever figure it out? Thanks, AM, for your wonderful videos!

It's the 4th week of July 2022. AM is so behind. We are still waiting on Nataly to have her first baby in 2022.

I think the neighbors 2:45 are Vanessa (Baldy's daughter) and her 2 daughters Lexi and little Lucille. Does anyone know? I was wrong. It is Rina and her two daughters Janet and Jenny. I think. UGH

Yes Mr AM, I love to see these babies in their natural habitat, rather than in diapers and dressed up. Sad to say millions of people patronize them, making the content creators rich at the expense of those poor baby monkeys 😭

Teeny was born in 2019. So that makes her 4 yrs old. Not sure if she has had her menarche yet. Something to look for in the coming episodes. We all can't wait for Teeny to become a mom.

Wilde. AM has been known to call him Oscar. Lol. He is a witty fella that AM. Oscar Wilde is an Irish poet and playwright if some of you forgot. I've been told Wilde is also called Pai Kwat (Skinny). Wild is a lanky, skinny macaque with grey fur. He is known to be very aggressive and dominant. He was Skull Heads 2nd before he died. It has also been said he was the alpha when Skull Head retired but Skull Head always had the respect of every member in the troop till the day he died, retired or not. A macaque alpha males usually last ~ 4 years I believe. Skull Head lasted 20. It's just mind boggling. What an alpha male he was.

I think Skull Head had/has the respect of all the humans who knew him too. What a spectacular leader he was. I’m glad his troop carries on with his name, it’s a fitting tribute.

The guy is a good story teller, and develops his storyline really well, that I never know what he's really suggesting, but this was his formal coming out as a believer that Martha is Tina's mother, right? Unless there's solid evidence to the contrary, just based on Tina's super different instincts around her, I\ve always assumed as much but I'm slow to the party often so I figured I'd ask?

Martha is not Tina's mother. Neither macaque has ever demonstrated familiar behavior. As a matter of fact, Martha harasses Tina.

Trying to understand; Tina is low ranking, hence Teeny and Tiny are both low ranking and Tiny will likely be kicked out of the troop at some point. Even though they have demonstrated their determination and ability to succeed. Is that correct?

Tiny is in charge of his own destiny. He will need to be accepted into a troop, then work his way up in ranking. Some males live solo the rest of their lives. Others are accepted into bachelor troops and never are accepted into a troop (with females). The lucky males are accepted into a troop with females. I don't know what the statistical probability of a male ever being acceptance into a troop (with females). Troop meaning Bossy's, Annie's, Nullah's or Skull Head's troops ect. That information would be interesting. We have been lucky to be able to see our outed boy in Dopey's boy band (Dopey, Knotty, Knitty, Buddy, and I think Toby has joined them too) and Spocky's boy band (Spocky, Sputty, and Charly). Per Monkey's Inc Dopey and Buddy have been accepted into Skull Heads troop. I think Knotty and Knitty have too. I'm not sure about our sweet Toby. Also, per Monkey's Inc. Spocky and Sputty have been accepted into Nullah's troop. Not sure about our Charly. Teeny will always be low ranking unless a high-ranking male protects her like Sally (Cocky), Ridgy (Grandee) or Sissy (Wilde). Once the alpha or high-ranking male is outed, they seem to return to their original family ranking. Thus, they do not retain the elevated ranking. I'm not sure if the extended families ranking is elevated with the female who is favored by a high-ranking male. If anyone knows please comment. Teeny may also increase in ranking if she has female offspring. I do not think the addition of female offspring increases her ranking drastically. Thus, she is low ranking now but may improve her status to low-mid ranking is my guess. The high-ranking females stay high-ranking I think....Look at Dorothy. She is old and only has Dorty and she is still high ranking (ranked 3rd). Not so sure about them. If anyone knows please comment. Of course, I'm absolutely not an expert, so all of this could be wrong. Lol :)

Males who have joined a new group are typically lower ranking than the other adult male residents in the group. They gradually work their way up the hierarchy by making alliances with powerful males and females (Manson 1998 ) . Adult males rise in rank through the formation of coalitions with unrelated males or females (Datta 1986 ; Manson 1998 ; Higham and Maestripieri 2011 ) . Furthermore, both adult males and females maintain and reinforce their status by intervening on behalf of unrelated individuals whenever these individuals attack males or females that are lower ranking than themselves. Agonistic support is solicited with scream vocalizations, particular facial expressions (raised eyebrows and eye movements), and body postures (tail raising and hindquarter presentation) (Gouzoules et al. 1984 ) . Agonistic support is also obtained in exchange for grooming behavior, as grooming a higher-ranking individual for extended periods of time increases the probability of receiving tolerance and agonistic support from this individual (Schino 2007 ) .

A baby her age just doesn’t run so far away from her mom, Bubbles is very confident and independent. If you watch other babies, they may walk a step or two away from their moms but they run back to her within a few seconds.

@@PandoraBVV Yes, spot on observation. Bubbles was following and sticking close to the mail. Probably related to her some how. Martha wasn't far off and was keeping an ever watchful eye on her. Not sure why AM didn't notice these things and said that Bubbles was making this first adventure alone.

Edwin is the older male Martha is grooming at the beginning of the episode. Freddy is a favorite of the feeders because of his gentle nature.

Why hasn't Ava had any babies? She is ~5+ yrs old now, born in 2016. Was she sterilized in 2018 with her mom Sophia?

I definitely think Bubbles is following old Freddy. He is also called Fat Boy. Freddie is one of the feeders' favorite males. He is known to be very gentle. Looks like Freddy and Bubbles have a friendship going on. Their little adventure is so darn cute.

I think Bubbles father could be Edwin. He is the male that Martha is grooming. I think this because she kinda looks like him. As Bubbles ages her features will become more telling. We may also see her groomed by Edwin. Edwin is the father to Tyler. Tyler is Carols' son. Oh and Carol is the older daughter of Olivia, who was one of Skull Heads wives. I wonder if we will see similar facial characteristics between Tyler and Bubbles. It's something to look out for.

Though most of the Adults know AM and know he is a human they can trust to be in amongst their troop and the babies, If you watch again you will notice that Bubble was following that large, older male!Makes me wonder if maybe he is her Papa, grandfather or Uncle perhaps? She lost track of him when he went down the hill by those stairs. Makes me wonder if maybe he is her Papa, grandfather or a beloved, loving Uncle perhaps. When Martha saw that the older male had left the roadside and Bubble did not follow him down, she immediately went to where Bubble was. I am surprised that AM did not even mention that Bubble was obviously sticking close to him and wasn't venturing off by herself when he stopped to rest along the way! I wonder who he is? Reminded me of the way that so many of the babes always stuck so close to Grandee!

Is Teeny still undersized?

Yes, her mom Tina raids the cheek pouches and steals all the food that her infants and babies manage to get into their mouths! More than a few of Tina's babies starved to death that way and Teeny almost didn't make it. If AM and the feeders had not worked together on a plan to keep Tina from stealing her babies food from them, Teeny would not have made it either,

I believe Teeny is on the smaller side of the spectrum but is not abnormally small. As an infant she was very small, as we all know. Once she was able to acquire an adequate amount of food, she had growth spurts.

Does Teeny maybe think that your camera is part of you AM and she’s nuzzling and showing affection?

i wonder if elaine was sterilized? i think of poor baby charlotte.

I don't think so. Her ears look normal and no tattoos to my knowledge. It is strange she gave birth on the road. Macaques usually give birth in the trees to my knowledge. Many of the aristocratic females didn't conceive this year (2022). I was thinking Skull Head was too ill to mate with all his wives. Maybe his death disrupted the troop dynamics. Also, I'm not sure if the birth rate declined in 2022. I would think Elaine will conceive in 2023. Her older daughter Bonnie is thriving so hopefully all will go well for her in the year 2023.
