Oh Mr. A.M. it must break your heart to see little Teensy picking up a "random piece of banana skin" and try and chew it with her little mouth right in front of you. Don't know how you do it! But thank you again for bringing us the good, bad and the ugly in your videos. First class coverage❤

So many of us are invested in seeing Teensy make it. Thank you for continuing to do what you can. I’m going to remain hopeful. It seems she’s learned that she can find food on the ground and any chance she gets (when Tina can safely put her down) Teensy immediately starts searching for food. It was nice to see she at least got some food tonight. I look forward to your next post and hope you had better luck.

agreed she was lurking and after Tina put her down she zoomed over and is looking for the perfect time to do a grab and dash. This is suppose to be time for Teensy to be walking, developing motor skills, and looking for food to eat. She won't be able to do any of that if Teeny keeps running of with her and keeping her in a death grip. Tina is starting to limit her nursing time also so teensy is going to need to start eating food more so now since her energy demands are increasing, as it is she isn't getting enough calories and is losing the very little fat reserves she has. Tina needs to get the message across more sternly to teensy or she won't stop. We all know mom sometimes has to lay down the hammer to make the message clear and that it isn't a negotiation.

I think that is what was teensys demise. Being away from tina caused her to burn calories she didn't have time after time. She didn't get enough milk and food to start with but would have pulled through like tiny and teeny if she hadn't struggled every day to get away from teeny. Teeny wouldn't put her down to eat so she wasted away in front of us after teeny started abducting her. A normal baby would have made it and I still love teeny but it hurt me to watch this little peanut die.

I think it needs you AND a regular feeder AM. One to scatter the goodies (Teeny will be distracted also) and one to feed Teensy. Otherwise it's very hard. Tina is such a good mom and keeps on scooping Teensy up. Amazing how Teensy has survived this long.

The regular feeders are doing so too ( a couple ) but whether Teensy can get anything is still a chance event. There are just too many variables we cannot control.

Tina is not willing to feed Teensy besides nursing. Anytime for lay before her, Tina picks hers up and leaves. And Tina knows good and well what it does to Teensy when Teeny snatches her up. Hopefully Tina will be fixed so no other baby must suffer.

I can remember when Teeny was a bit younger she would spend more time away from Tina playing and hanging around with others but now she’s like a second skin to Tina for a chance to get goodies that she sees her mom get and to grab her baby sister whenever she can. She’s making it very difficult to isolate Tina and Teensy. I love her to pieces but I wish she would make herself scarce for awhile so Teensy could get some nourishment.🥴 I’ve also noticed that whenever other monkeys see you around Tina Arroz they follow along to see if they can get goodies too. Ugh, what a conundrum.😫 I pray Teensy can hang on until someone can get food to her on a somewhat regular basis.🙏

EXCELLENT COMMENT and sadly it never or rarely works out so that food is left when opportunity presents itself.

Thank you AM for trying so hard to help Teensy. I appreciate your empathy for the underdogs and admire your creative problem solving ideas and your patience in explaining behaviors and motives to educate viewers who might otherwise turn their concern for Teensy into blame and anger at her sister or mother. As you did with Teeny, you've really gone above and beyond the call of duty trying to help Teensy. Trying different strategies, different foods, working with the regular feeders to share your experiences and ideas, and even visiting more often. Doing what you can, not giving up even when circumstances and obstacles prevent Teensy from receiving the nutrition you are trying so hard to give her.. Whatever happens with Teensy you have done everything humanly possible to help her. You are a good man.

This is like watching the same storyline with just a different baby over and over and Tina always has little girls with these huge eyes just looking at you. I am on the edge of my seat rooting for you every time.

I feel if Teensy has made it this far she will make it. Tiny and Teeny went through the exact same thing and they are fine. Even when Tina was stealing most of the food they found right out of their mouths they still were able to survive. Which I'm sure Tina will do to Teensy once she does start getting food on her own.

Sad! she's 4months old and has never even been in a tree yet!!!

I always liked Tina, never thought she was a bad mother, even defended her on the negative comments people made. I had high positive thoughts Teensy would make it. Unfortunately, they are getting less. I am worried that she's not going to get the appropriate nutrition and calories shes needs😢. Seeing Tina restrict nursing now makes me wonder if the taps are running dry

Tina knows she’s old enough now and needs to eat food too. That’s why she’s starting to restrict her and tell her eat food too

What are the chances Teensy can live long enough to be able to eat things given to them? Teeny wasn’t much older when Tina was using her to troll and scavenge between the Hi-bornes. Has her milk become so poor we get to watch the slow agonizing (for me) starvation while nursing 18 hours a day.

@jcgraham8808 have you actually seen that teensy nurses? of all the footage where she's attached to a nipple i have never noticed a sucking movement once. she just seems to use the nipple as a pacifier

Thanks for trying to help. It is heartbreaking, I think Teensy is doomed. She is fading away being on the boob all the time but with Tina limiting her, her chances are even smaller. She is skin and bone. I hope Teeny won't have the lactation issues her Mum has when she has babies.

When Teensy was this little there was no sibling trying to take her and babysit her so Tina was able to put her on the ground and that is how Teensy survived. She was constantly foraging and AM and the feeders were able to help. I am trying to hold out on some hope that Teensy will survive but my hope is fading because our sweet and lovable Teeny will not leave her sister alone.

I hate to see Tina starting to wean Teensy. I was hoping she wouldn't until Teensy is really hale and hearty. Ughhhhh, I'm pulling for ya, Teensy! Hang in there, little one.

This isnot the Vervet.Project..AM does not have monkey vets or a staff to feed monkeys, only the volunteer regular feeders and occasional feeders. AM also has his wits,thus is a very smart man. He just may figure out how to pull Teensey out of malnutrition.

Now, I am really worried about Teensy. It seems she is so weak, fragile and bones😢😢😢😢

I don't think Teensy is able to use her fingers for anything other than clinging to mum and I'm surprised she can still do that. Her poor little fingers are curled and she can't even pick anything up off the ground.

It looks like she isn't used to doing the movements and hasn't developed the coordination. She doesn't have much muscle tone as well from the combination of always been on mom and low caloric intake. She isn't using her hands enough for other things so the muscles and motor skills haven't developed enough. Staying in one position for prolonged periods can also cause tightening of the ligaments. It's not her fault all she can do is keep drinking milk from mom which isn't giving her enough energy to do much else.

When I see little baby teensy it just breaks my heart, to think that she is starving to death, literally. Her little cry is gut wrenching for me. Heck, I’ve never seen her in person, or never held her or played with her but I think of her all day and feel guilty that I can’t help her. Sometimes I can’t even eat bc I feel guilty that she doesn’t have anything to eat. 😢 Mr AM, thank you for trying to help her. Your awesome for running around, racking your brain, trying to find ways to make sure that she gets just a few little bites of food. That’s probably helping her more than you know.

I know that the monkeys belong in the wild but this makes me sad & makes me wish that teensy was at least for a few days or months, in the care of a human who cared so deeply about getting her healthy enough so that she could forage on her own, & then put her back. It would be hard to integrate her back into the wild but at least she wouldn’t starve to death & suffer. 😢

I wonder.... If soy based infant formula was poured out, could Teensy manage to drink any of it?

@@pc3235 right. Teeny and Tiny went thru the same thing. They just need more foods and exercise along with the little milk they get. I wish he would bring a carton of milk to give Tina so as she drink it runs down her face and chest because Teensy could lick that up too

Tina raised Tiny & Teeny. Her milk has become less & less nutritional. At least, Teensy being smaller than her previous baby (that baby was huge& needed lots of milk!/didn’t last long), Teensy needs a bit less & is able to hang in there. But Tina is beginning to keep the milk bar from reach. It will be very difficult to see Tina push Teensy away or yank her around. Teensy needs her survivor spirit to kick up as Tina does her thing.

I don't know how you're gonna feed a monkey that doesn't even use her hands to handle her food!

Tiny and Teeny persevered and survived, why has it been more difficult for Teensy?

I just don't think she gonna make it if A M.doesnt get some puree in her in the next week!

Arroz you should never feel guilty... I know you're doing everything you can. I assume you feel somewhat panicked while trying to help. We feel for you, but it's not your fault.

Can you give her milk or something in the form of liquid easy to take since she doesn't have much of a chance at solid food and since her mother's milk doesn't help her.

He keeps trying to give her a puree he makes for her but the time has never been right. One time he put the puree out and Tina snatched teensy up something spooked her. Second time AM was waiting for the right time when not alot of monkeys are around and Tina is at ease and Teeny kidnapped Teensy. So it has to be the right time. It is not looking good for Teensy 😞

And these monkeys are not like the ones in Asia. They are true wild monkeys. There is no way any of the mothers on Monkey hill would let you get close enough to feed their baby milk.

Tina is not going to keep feeding Teensy 24/7 and I am so worried when she stops.

I am going to hate seeing Tina rummage through this baby’s pouches. She’s crying and begging for food yet there’s no way really to help her.

I do not think teensy will make it. Now teeny is babysitting. It will take a few more lucky banana peels.

Seems we all can tell how much milk the baby gets so our work is done here.

I know Tina doesn't understand her milk situation but she does have some understanding that something isn't right she notices her baby is not growing and developing like others, I know she does everything a monkey mom can do but I also imagine how stressed she is almost all the time while raising her babies. God Bless Tina and little Teensy. What a dreaded situation for a wild animal to be in where there is limited or no help at all that can be done. So it is in God's hands of what the outcome will be.

It looks like Teensy knows you have food for her. Too bad Tina keeps picking her up. Looking at Teensy’s fingers and toes break my heart. Tina is now limiting Teensy’s time nursing. This isn’t good…

Has any of Tina’s babies lived

Is it possible to grab vegetation and put it down right in front of Tina so that she can get to that easier? That was just a thought.

So frustrating just to see what you’re going through to sneak her something to help. Tina is also paranoid of everything when feeders aren’t around and wheels-off when they are. Seems like the only chance you will have somewhat regularly is while Tina is stuffing her face in a goody trance. Granted Teeny seems at the ready at all times to snatch and -lay keep away. I wish you luck sir, we all have a special thing for the unlucky babies born to Nora, Tina, and Gypsy.

12:32 of course teensy is going to freak out when she doesn't see her mother around because her sister keeps taking off with her if her mother isnt right there. She doesn't have much muscle tone and when she walks it looks like she isn't doing it too often because of her posture and movements. It looks like she is use to being in the same position. There has to be some way Tina's milk quality/quantity can be improved. There are animal suppliments for this but i suppose since these are wild animals that isn't something that would normally be noticed or followed

Mr. AM is very careful on how he feeds them. He knows they have a hierarchy and he does his best to follow it. He knows feeding Tina before the higher-ups get anything will result in attacks from the Alpha and family.

She is so tiny...

Teensy “loving” her sister for experience or because she knows the food follows the babies will be the demise of this sweet little baby, I’m afraid.

Probably Teensy is no longer with us now and Tina's baking another baby😢😢

@@kimberlygarrish205 - I kind of agree but in this video I really don’t see Teensy suck she just wants the nipple in her mouth. I could only imagine if Teensy was suckling so hard to get what she needs (24/7) Tina would be in extreme pain. I’m keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 that Teensy makes it 💕

@@BThuel ITS BOTH! Jesus man. She doesn’t produce enough milk or she would have some tig ol bitties….they’re pancakes. The little bit of milk she does make it’s not good enough in quality. Quit trolling and being a know it all dam… I hand raise newborns all the time.

Tina is pregnant again that’s why she is weaning Teensy. Another one on the way so she can starve it too. She has plenty of milk.

Tina has the inability to produce. Nutritious milk for her babies so they have the failure to thrive syndrome. Then Teeny keeps grab ING the baby because sher hormones are telling her to babysit to practice for having her own baby but since monkeys do not allolactate, Teeny is helping Teensy starve. Tina cannot leave Teensy on the ground for lo g to eat be abuse Teeny is right there yo grab the baby. It is a rely heart breaking situation. AM is trying hard to feed Tina extra without causing b the high borns to attack her so her milk might get better. AM and a regular feeder are trying hard to get some food into Teensy but it is hard, as you can see the challenges he has

Maybe something softer like some bananas?

I wonder if Tina would let you give her some infamil in a dropper?im just clutching at straws at this point!

Well Karen, you seem to have wondered off and found yourself barking up another wrong tree. Are you just commenting again and forgetting to watch the video first? You can go back and watch over 7 years of documentation of these particular primates that this channel has been posting. I could take the time and give you the explanation but you seem to struggle and lack any comprehension of what is going on and prefer to judge with your Karenessity. Here is a short version. He ran out of the special food he brought. For the record, AM has made a difference in the lives of these primates without compromising their natural way of life. I do appreciate you commenting and giving me the opportunity to knock you off your pedestal. Also I am prepared to reply on future comments with facts. Something you never bothered to obtain before making your first comment. Finally, the huge difference between AM and the "Cambodia guys" is he has never once sacrificed a primate for views. This is his hobby that he shares with his subscribers and anyone else who have interest in viewing or learning about them. He portrays compassion and understanding and never creates drama unlike the other channels you seem to have interest in.

It must be hard to watch this poor little one when you have spent so much time with them. As malnourished as she appears its dehydration that becomes an issue

It’s not that she doesn’t know how to use her hands, she can’t use her hands. The quality of Tina’s milk is so poor, that it lacks the nutrients needed for a baby to grow. In this particular instance, it lacks calcium. That is why Teensy’s hands and feet are curled under. She can’t straighten, flex or bend her fingers to pick up food.

Well whatever happens we all know that Teensy was beloved while she was alive. It is also sad that Tina keeps moving away from Teeny because she doesn’t trust her. Teeny keeps chasing mom so she won’t be alone as she doesn’t have other family or friends. Life as a low ranking troop member is terrible.
