"Try to forgive and forget." The way he said it almost made me tear up. And I needed to hear this after what happened today. Pierre seems like a deep and thoughtful person with a big heart. And those food look delicious!

13:10 You’ll note Pierre put different buns for the two boys - Josh has a smaller, more precise top, because Pierre knew he’d be more posh and use a knife and fork, and the smaller top gives more accuracy. Ollie, on the other hand, gets the full bun, because Pierre expected him to use his hands, and it’s easier to eat a burger with a full bun. Neat detail.

Korean adoption is such a sensitive topic, I really appreciate Josh & Ollie acknowledging & uplifting this artist. The BTS thing is cool, and Pierre's talent speaks for itself...but for a large segment of Korean adoptees out there, messages like this (of confidence & success in their craft) is so important. Thank you.

​@@spritzerhijo The origin of exporting Korean children (as foreign adoptees) began shortly after the Korean War - where unwed/single mothers were shamed in birthing mixed-race children with foreign soldiers. This began a culture of single mothers being shamed and wholly unsupported for having children, while adoption agencies began making record profits from the exportation of Korean children (avg. $30,000 - $50,000 USD per child; I've seen as high as $100,000). Sprinkle in religious fervor and patriarchal systems, and it continues to be a stain on South Korea. This is a very, very simplified version of what's been happening for many decades now, so I encourage you to do your own research, as well.

@so Unless you are an adopted person, I probably wouldn't tell them "how" to feel. But, yes, kidnappings have and continue to happen; due to societal shame, saving face, and financial gain. And as I've said already, this is a very complicated issue - one that has resulted in the ongoing trauma and separation of many, many real children from their biological families, and a deep loss of their Korean culture & heritage.

Love how they respected the Korean drinking culture of turning to the side away from the chef (to have a sip of wine) whom, I assume, is older than both gents.

Ollie sends me 😂 1. Ollie opening the bottle of champagne 2. Ollie saying the wine decanter looks like a musical instrument 3. "the rind is the best bit" 4. "cod's ugly cousin" 5. dropping the fish/completely missing his mouth What a lovely, generous man. He pulled out all the stops for you guys, including some of the most expensive wines! I hope that success follows him wherever he goes. Maybe he'll one day visit Pyongyang and cook for me if I invite him. He cooks and speaks from the heart

What an immensely attractive personality this man has. He is happy, he is kind and generous and was relaxed enough to joke and not take himself so seriously. I am incredibly jealous of your experience

French cuisine, from my own perspective, screams sophistication and marvelous dishes to showcase on the table. Interestingly he blended in "unsophisticated" (at least by French standards) elements from the typical French apéro: plain buttered bread, a slab of cheese, saucisson. And put sophisticated and fun twists to them. His "hot dog" being a chunk of saucisson presented as a dish is a practical joke that would have many French people both amused and confused.

Pierres energy is so infectious. Gotta love it ❤

He is generous, honest, so full of life and love! Would love to visit his restaurant someday

So much respect for this chef. His passion for cooking is so clear. And his heart is all in which makes the food so much more meaningful than just the flavor. I love that. His kind vibes spreading through. I like his philosophy about forget and forgive, seems like he hasn't had an easy life, but he managed to overcome and NOW enjoys every bit of it.

Pierre is like the french chefs who's the most collaborating with youtubers, he did a crazy video years ago with two french youtubers creating dishes with ingredients that should'nt be paired together, he looked so jolly and yet serious at the same time! looks like a nice guy to talk to about anything and everything! favourite video so far from your trip in france

I treasure this video. Pierre Sang is one of the first personalities I could relate to since he’s adopted and it wasn’t usual to see people like him and I on screen. Him being an ex contestant in the only tv show I tune in for just makes it better. Hopefully I can dine in one of his restaurants soon 🤞🏾

wow two of my favorite things just joined up! my love for BTS and for JOLLY. It's crazy to see that even when people aren't paid to say nice things about BTS they always do. And they never fail to mention their kindness and how humble they are. Thats how you know it's the truth.

Chef Pierre has a really soothing voice and everything looked beautiful. Ollie was so nervous and exited 😂

What an absolutely lovely man. The food looked incredible and such a fun experience too. got to say for a famous chef like this guy, he's tremendously friendly and humble, not forgetting how fun he is. this video is amazingly entertaining !

He takes them like raw ingredients and conjures them into masterful sentences the next!

I meet him one time in Paris (in his restaurant) and I never meet someone that sweet in my life... I make my friend and I feel comfortable (I was impressed by his height XD). The food was excellent and not that expensive (you can have a very good menu for 38 euros). He was only very kind towards his colleagues (make sure that every chefs were OK, greet everyone, coungrat the news employees for their good job...). A lovely person, very and talented ^^

Oh I really hope Ollie finished that burg! That food… the creativity… the flair! Pierre Sang is both hilarious and adorable and yet so humble is his genius

Chef Pierre Sang seems like SUCH a joy to be around. Charismatic, wise, hillarious and so so down to earth. This man managed to turn an INCREDIBLY fine dining experince into a dinner you have with friends. He moves with a confidence in the kitchen that I can only imagine speaks volumes about his skills, and with a joy to his step that speaks of what an easy lovable personality he has. I loved every interaction he had with Ollie and Josh, and as an ARMY, I can only imagine how happy and comfortable he must have made the Tannies. 💜

He seems like such a sweet man with an enthusiasm for food and passes it on to those around him. Glad you two had fun and I know he made the boys of BTS happy too 😢💜

I’ve seen Pierre Sang in various shows in the past. He’s still as lovely and joyful as he was in those shows. I hope to visit his restaurant when in Paris.

Forgive and forget are actually two hardest yet simplest things to do. We human we hold grudge and just full of hatred.

This just dawned on me: I feel like with every known chef that JOLLY has collaborated these past few months, this could be a seed of an idea for Korean Englishman to do a mukbang tour in Korea featuring the chefs they've collabed with: Mr. Zagatti, Sorted Food, and Pierre Sang.

i love seeing them being nervous not in a bad way but it shows that they are still down to earth and they are always polite and nervous to meet new people and celebs...nice video !!!!!

Okay, I'm a huge fan of the Michelin series.. and I think we need more episodes with this fabulous Chef!! I love the banter, food, and laughter!

The chef is pretty cool and generous. He seems to have a great sense of humor. Also seems to be humble and sweet too
