Jurassic world HQ be wild as hell. Like who would release a stealthy and clever predator with the ferocity of the spinosaurus, in public display and then proceed to guarantee that it will not escape, when it is clear from the dinosaur's behaviour that it will maul anything it sees to death. 💀💀💀💀💀

Say what you want about hybrids, they’re literally just made-up dinosaurs so it doesn’t matter, but I am adoring the sound design more than anything with these creatures so far, the Spinoraptor already had amazing sound design, but they’ve just added so many awesome sounds. The Spinoceratops as well I feel had some sounds that made it so likeable, some of its honks and grunts were weirdly cute.

I love how playful they made it. Super cool given its part Spinosaurus which is usually super aggressive. Nice contrast. Even its human kill is sorta playful, as morbid as it sounds. Also the joint fish feeder animation seemingly bugged out for you, they dont do the exact same animation lol

It's dinos like this that really need to have their skins from the first game as an option. Spinoraptor Woodland pattern was chef's kiss.

The best thing to me abut the human kill animation is that the victims sound less like they're in mortal peril, and more like they're on a mildly uncomfortable rollercoaster.

This is the most plausible to be a real Dinosaur.

Spinoraptor is finnaly back, its good they give some new animations, and liking the i-rex its honestly a big surprise. Still kinda mad i have to buy again.

I know you tried the Spinoraptor with the Indominus, but that's hybrid to hybrid rather than Velociraptor to Indominus which is ""natural"" to hybrid. Can the Spinoraptor talk with the Spinosaurus?

The homalocephale kill animation is basically the same as the Australovenator's.

I like that it's hunting like it knows it's very strong, it doesn't need to jump

I like the way they balanced the kills with this one. The needle teeth allow for more of a quick-bite bleed than the heavy bite of something with serrated teeth (the bite to the chest and then the neck on the medium biped shows this), but the heavy jaw allows for a solid grip once it does commit (homeocephale and hadrosaur both include this detail). I wish it used the claws more in the kills rather than just fighting (with the exception of the vicious, cat-like play against the homeocephale), but the character in the human kill almost makes up for it.

I love how the kill animation echoes the JP3 spino's first kill, where it bit down on the dude's leg and let him hand for a second, then to let him drop.

Def my fav hybrid in the game. And I just love that the human kill animation can work both as a ref to the “make a wish” scene with the Rexes from TLW AND JP3 when the Spinosaurus grabs the pilot out of the plane.

I thought once they drop the Hybrid pack that it was gonna be the big update to end the game off I’m not disappointed however I still think this the last few updates left

So it could be that I just haven’t noticed it before, but the fish feeder animation has them gripping the sides with their hands and feet and putting their weight back, really making use of those long arms 😊

1:20 The brow crests above it's eyes seem slightly more pronounced in the new version, though that may also be the perspective.

Those little dots on the snout and jawline remind me of ampullae of Lorenzini the special sensory organ on sharks perhaps they have a function to help with finding fish in the water just a thought and keep up the good work 👍

Yeah, I definitely have some mixed about this pack, since we already had 3 of 4 dinosaurs in the first game.... Though the Spinoraptor is still a pretty great hybrid. Definitely one of the more sensible, well-blended ones. And I do love how it hops up on the fish feeder in order to eat.

Still probably my favorite hybrid (at least one of) but I still wish it had a bit of a crest like the spino has on the top of it's head, otherwise it's like the Spinoceratops in that it's X dinosaur but with a sail. The spinoraptor just happens to be 2 therapods mixed together that it seems more spino than the spinoceratops but it really is more raptor than anything else in the end. I wil say that I do like that it's around the size of the Dakotaraptor, it's definitely one of the biggest raptors we'll probably ever get, along with the indoraptor ofc...

I’m so excited for this. It’s so awesome m. The lack of update feels empty but the DLC itself is great and Spinoraptor, my beloved favorite hybrid and such a great adaptation of it.

I'm so happy its back! Really love this dinosaur. As for the pack itself, I'm not really upset with them charging again, but like you said it should've been a bit bigger. I could have seen them doing a T-rex hybrid of some kind, Ultimasaurus for example from the old toyline would have been fantastic.

Spinoraptor was one of the creepiest in the original game. Those ambient animations are so cute, though!

Unfortunately while it likes and can live with Indominus rex, it also panics whenever it gets close to them. Pretty much the same problem Velociraptor had long ago when they made it compatible with Indominus. Hopefully Frontier fixes that. Spinoraptor does have a unique social interaction with Velociraptor.

The spino grabs one of the mercenaries by the foot and drags him out of the plane it could be that but could be the lost world eddy as well 👍

They should have just called it the hybrid species pack. Not secret species. They should have done like smilodon or just other species. Maybe even other hybrids

Not that I don't like the new one, but I'm really gonna miss the kill animation the Spinoraptor had for the first game. It would pounce on the tourist from behind, grab him by the head, and break the neck. It was my favorite dinosaur kill animation on a human from the last game.

Unless Frontier can give a good reason why these species in particular weren’t included in base game then selling them back as DLC will always feel scummy, 1/2 the pack really shouldn’t be reused content if we are expected to pay the same price we would for 100% new content

Im not convinced that spinoraptor kill on a human would be lethal in real life. Unless you smacked your head the throw to the ground just doesnt seem fast enough to lights out a human. Broken foot? Definitely. Dislocated knee? Probably. Cracked ribs? Sure but idk the force it uses to throw a human into the ground combined with the height it does it from just doesnt feel like it'd be a kill

You know what's annoying me about the Spinoraptor? It's not utilizing its crescent shaped toe-claw. None of the Dromaeosaurs are/ in-games or in movies. Seems very kiddie & somewhat cowardly to me

I’m sorry if I’ve been negative about this DLC but these kill animations, besides the guests, are really lacking. Should pack hunt and be much more agile. Just biting them and they die really doesn’t reach its standards imo. Especially for being such a fan favorite.
