i love spinoceratops

I like how the hybrids seem to recognize a connection with their parent species, but the parents don’t recognize them. The herbivores all seem so annoyed by the hybrids trying to socialize with them, like they’re wondering why something so much bigger and different than them is trying to make friends

Im pretty sure theyre reused animations of the same species interacting just on a different skeleton. Doesnt mean that your idea wasnt the intended effect however.

idk man, diplodocus' tail was basically a massive whip, it could dish out some real pain, albeit non lethal. slap a club at the end of that tail and you almost certainly have something that could put down just about anything with a well enough placed blow

I mean when you look at how many if not most herbivores today also eat meat on the side, i'd Say the spinoceratops eating fish and or meat isn't that far fetched.

The mass layoffs and restructuring did a number on this DLC and update, but it's great that Frontier was still able to put in little details and nuances like this. And it's awesome having more inter-species social animations after the raptor/Indominus one was the only one for years.

@@megawarrior_101 A recent game they made that was pretty expensive and not what they usually make bombed pretty hard, which forced them to do a bunch of layoffs throughout the company. It happened while the Secret Species Pack was being developed, which is why there wasn't a big free update (hopefully they'll work on that to release sometime between this and the next DLC). But they did confirm that they were going to only make games of the types they've always done as well as focus more on their existing games, including Evolution 2. So we've still got more DLC coming, albeit with a smaller dev team.

You mean some of the hybrids from Jurassic world the game? Carnoraptor was carnotaurus + pyroraptor, and cerazinosaurus was ceratosaurus + therizinosaurus. They were pretty cool, I’d also like see yudon (yutyrannus + troodon), erliphosaurus (erlikosaurus + dilophosaurus), pachyceratops (pachycephalosaurus + nasutoceratops) and tropeogopterus (tropeognathus + zhejiangopterus) make it into evolution because they were also pretty cool. I’d say that some of the hybrids would be more likely to show up than others, given that their source species are not all in the game yet. Still, it would be cool to see new designs of them in a higher fidelity than mobile game graphics.

Literally the spinoraptor animations are adorable.
