Shawn was never going to marry her. With all due respect to Candido, he was a jobber and she clearly didn’t love him if she was doing all this behind his back. She only stayed with him because he was the only guy who wanted to be with her and loved her. Shawn was a main eventer, multi millionaire and had job security with his friendship with Vince. Agreed. And she was a GORGEOUS woman, for Candido or anybody. Its SO easy to say leave a person who is mistreating or its your own fault, but when you truly adore and love someone, its not so simple.

2022 update: Candido is dead, Sunny is in jail for vehicular manslaughter, and Shawn is a happily married family man. Sunny has had at least 7 DWI arrests, a weapons charge, an arrest for making terroristic threats, and dozens of lesser drunken-disorderly types of charges. Finally, on March 25, 2022, Sunny killed someone. While driving drunk she smashed into a stopped car, killing the driver. She was initially released on bond. Then, a day later, after massive public outcry, a judge revoked her bond saying she was a danger to society. In my opinion, the judge who released her after 6 DWIs should be serving time right next to her.

Actually, while she was on bond, the cops were called to a bar where she was because she and her meathead boyfriend were drunk out of their minds and they were causing trouble. They found her passed out in front of the bar. THAT’S why her bond was revoked. PS I agree with you that the family should also sue the judges who let her get off easily after repeated DUIs

Whats funny about all of this is that Shawn has never once admitted to this affair. He wrote a book years ago and even made a claim on life tv about Bret doing Sunny but at that very time he was sticking it to her on an hourly basis... Tammy's timeline is all fucked up. She claimed that the affair started after Syracuse and lasted for 9 months, before HBK broke up with her at the NATPE convention in Vegas. Tammy then claims that HBK met/married/impregnated his wife just months after their breakup. But the Syracuse incident happened in October 1995 and the Vegas NATPE Convention took place in January 1996, three months later. Also, HBK didn't meet Rebecca until 1999. I'm sure they hooked up but I doubt it was the full-blown relationship/love affair that Tammy makes it out to be 25 years later. It sounds like she picked random events (Syracuse, Jamaica trip, NATPE) and fixed a relationship around it.

Thunder Paradise. I do think Shawn being born again wasn’t fake since apparently a lot of people almost didn’t recognize him when he came back, he was a different person. Probably was still a dick here and there but it was NOTHING like his first run. Only reason dude wasn’t fired was bc he was so damn good as a wrestler. Even as a fan of his I admit he’s very lucky he was in his prime when he was. Any other time in history his attitude woulda gotten him an ass bearing or fired.

Here is a one lie I caught her in. After they ended Shawn did not end up with his wife Rebecca. He had another girlfriend named Jennifer she was the one in that 97-98 time period that he wore the gold wedding bend around his neck. You can even see her in a Feb 98 episode of Raw when he and Hunter are playing pool Jennifer is talking to Chyna in the background lol. So after Sunny ended things in 96/97 did not meet his wife and have kids, that was a few years later. Even something small she cant get right lol.

Mike Peterson I think it was the nitro girl he married that kind of turned him to God or whatever. My guess is sunny wasn't going to lead hbk on the path to jesus and he damn sure wasn't going to lead her to faith. I'm sure had she moved in with hbk that it eventually would have went off the rails and everybody would have ended up in a similar circumstances as they did anyways. Hbk and sunny in the 90s were incredibly broken people.
