Cool to see how Brooks does very little thinking in between shots, and bryson analyzes everything in fine detail. Complete opposite mentality, both hit the ball a mile, both win on tour. Just cant get over how a 3 iron looks like a wedge in Brooks’ hands

All his irons and wedges are the 37.5" (7 iron length), so....yeah, his wedge and 3 iron will look pretty similar at setup haha

Much respect for both of these guys. In the end they both responded with respect and was able to laugh off the best friends question. I admire both attitudes and game play as well.

Can't believe this was the first time they played together. At least Brooks had the decency to give Bryson a bit of credit on his ball striking and speed.

The way you don't understand that world top ten golfers are elite and "good" golfers, really makes me doubt you're smart enough to shoot in the 80s. Maybe on the front 9.

Glad to see Brooks come out the winner. I think Bryson would be a much better player if he stopped with the over analytical non sense. Just stop already we get it your a smart guy but you don't have to reinvent the wheel. Your slowing the game down and unfairly affecting the players yer paired with.

this is Tiger v. Phil Version 2. Brooks likes to play it cool and not give up much publicly, and loves that Bryson keeps sticking his foot in his mouth because it just makes him look like the Alpha. Just like Tiger used to love when Phil just couldn't keep his mouth shut. Eventually age mellowed Tiger, and allowed for a closer relationship. Guessing history will repeat itself.

Match play against Bryson IS like a major to Brooks. The history between them brings out the same intensity.

bryson is my new favourite golfer... he's such a relaxed dude man...

Always been on the Brooks side of this "feud", but you have to respect the hard work and dedication Bryson puts into his craft. There are a lot of "great" people in history books that were not liked by many people.

Great to see these guys up close and personal. Great respect shown to each other but you can’t always like everyone. Phil and Charles in the box was sheer quality. Golf definitely the winner here 😎

This are two perfect examples of people I like - they hate each other and are not afraid to let the other person know it. No shit talking behind each other’s backs, straight to the face!

Beef can be good for the game. The way these 2 are handling it makes it even better.

Brooks is on another level. Bryson is an excellent golfer, but Brooks is more consistent around the greens. Short game always wins. If Bryson continues to dial in his short game he will be unstoppable.

Really lovely to watch the different styles of golf with these two. Both are very talented. Koepka has a really lovely swing and it s good to watch but for me DeChambeau is the one I’d prefer to watch as it’s just more exciting.

Brooks was super even keel. Nothing was fantastic and nothing was terrible. Everything was just "aight". Very confident and mentally strong

This is soooo good for the game…can’t wait to see them battle on the PGA Tour. Like both players games. They will continue to represent the USA in the Ryder and Presidents Cup, the viewers will have a blast. Let’s keep the Cups for a long time.

Or to put it another way they both figured out they need to act like adults in front of cameras. There are plenty of people I don't like, but if I had to golf with them I'd be polite and civil; not sure why it's so difficult for people to understand that that is all that's going on here.

Billed as a Trashtalk Fest... there was virtually no back and forth between the players. The trashtalk was coming from the announcers booth, and 90% of it was directed at Dechambeau while he was planning his shot. They talked about or to Koepka when he was driving to his shot and very little when was over the ball. This is definitely not a Bryson friendly format.

Brooks expression at the beginning after the cupcakes killes me 😂

Mutual respect was established from this event that’s it. Like for each other not created. You can tell Brooks has the issue, whatever that is. I think he feels he’s the best and dislikes everyone on the tour to keep a mental edge. He thinks he’s better than Tiger too. Bryson took the PC route which he probably figured out in an algorithm would benefit him more in the long run. They will both continue to collect hardware using their individual styles.

Isn't it interesting that even though Brooks won handily, Bryson seems to have rented a little space in Brooks' head. Bryson seemed to like the match, Brooks was all about putting Bryson in his place. In the end, mutual respect.

Golf is really fun when you hit these kinds of shots

Both amazing golfers. Both genuine people outside of golf. Brooks just played better and both will live to duel another day. Now the media can pipe down as all the trash they write is tiresome. Move on media.

When you look at the proximity to hole stats from the PGA website; fairway vs rough...it's staggering...out of the rough is twice the distance from the hole at almost every yardage...who would want to hit the ball so hard that you're in the rough more than the fairway? The odds are then against you.

Going to be fun to watch the gallery's scream 4&3 during the upcoming PGA seaon.
