He plays one-length clubs. Quite a few of his ideas about how to play came from a guy named Moe Norman. There are people in golf who believe the things they were told were the way to do it. They are offended when someone says there is another way. They are even more offended when that person has data that backs up their points. I listened to what he had to say and checked it out. It works. The reason that many players on the PGA tour did not like him is that he was a very slow player. He was doing some fairly intricate calculations for every shot. This took some time. Eventually even he agreed that it was too much and he simplified the process to be a little quicker. I like his approach.

we can only hope that golf hasn't changed 'forever'...since the new novelty sport is nothing so interesting or competitive as the traditional version... currently, the future of golf looks like a few spoiled cry babies who are happy to capitalize on the unfair advantage the pga created to sell expensive, plastic novelty drivers 30 years ago...we are now living in the fallout of that criminal decision to CHANGE golf into the 'bomb and gouge' version of today, where gorillas MIS-hit 350 yard tee shots, and have only wedges to every 500 yard par 4...yeah, that's real golf! hahahahaha the modern game is nothing that bobby jones, ben hogan, sam snead, arnold palmer, jack nicklaus, lee trevino, and tom watson would recognize... and the future looks even bleaker and more of a boring, limited hangout fiasco...the only way to 'challenge' these modern players with their novelty equipment is to lengthen the courses even further, eliminating even more of the shot makers from golf... the only realistic way to keep some shred of continuity with the past, where professional golfers often hit mid and long irons to par 4's, and almost never hit short irons to par 5's as they do today, is to make par 3's 300 yards...par 4's 5-600 yards...and par 5's 700 yards or more!! hahahahahaha...what a joke!! instead, if the criminal pga had only kept the novelty equipment where it was DESIGNED to be...for HIGH handicap golfers, and SENIORS, the game would remain the same respectable sport it had been for 100 years or more...and the games of today's pros could be directly compared to the past, as it ought to be. why should professional golfers be hitting clubs designed for BEGINNERS and SENIORS? the answer...to SELL overpriced novelty gear that has no place in professional golf, any more than training wheels should be on professional cyclists!! it's absurd. bryson hit the fewest fairways of any us open winner IN HISTORY!! but that's ok, huh? ben hogan must be rolling in his grave with laughter at the modern version of golf and golf equipment!! a sad state of affairs, as the culture implodes under the weight of it's greed and ego...golf just happens to be a perfect indication of the fall.
