They're actually becoming friends now. Bryson was the only player to turn back to congratulate Brooks at the PGA, he said he felt sad for him because no one was there to congratulate him and he felt it was the right thing to do, I mean the guys won 5 majors, respect where respect is due.

I think it shows that Brooks dislikes Bryson a lot more than Bryson disliking Brooks, in the end they're both champions and great golfers.

Here’s the deal..Brooks is an elite talent that doesn’t really care about golf when he’s not playing and trains on like a level 5 out of 10 (compared to Bryson)..just a normal laid back dude Bryson is a complete “golf dork” who trains 10 out of 10 and entire life is consumed by golf and analytics. A little socially awkward/dorky but a really solid dude. They are complete opposites people and I really like them both.

I know you're just having fun, but the driving distance "advantage" of Bryson's is so overblown. Bryson's body transformation came during the pause of the 2020 season and has resulted in two PGA Tour wins and a major (U.S. Open). Was it worth it? A year ago I would have said yes, but now I think the answer is less clear. One of those wins (Rocket Mortgage Classic) is a pretty "meh" event. Now he hasn't won in over a year and risks serious injury going forward. The only modern events where Bryson's distance could be an insane advantage would be major tracks where the rough is very thick - like the U.S. Open. He's hitting 1+ clubs shorter into most holes, which is an even bigger advantage on a U.S. Open course when in the rough. But I even have to put an asterisk by his 2020 U.S. Open victory because the event was played three months removed from its typical June heat. Bryson has all the tools, but he is still not as good a putter or short-game player as Koepka, whose career is littered with top-10 finishes in majors (and with three more victories). Koepka is seemingly ALWAYS in the mix at the majors - Bryson didn't even crack the top-20 once in 2021 and just doesn't play well at Augusta, which is a test of good iron play, short-game prowess, and putting. Most guys are knocking it well past 300 now, so the real advantage is scoring from 150 and in.

I can't like a guy who hates golf but plays it because he is good...Bryson at least loves the game.Brooks trying to be a tough guy because he played hockey is corny also.

What're you talking about? Bryson definitely helped the Ryder team. Them playing together in the cup is probably the only reason they even agreed to do this. I don't think people realize just how much those two disliked each other before playing on the Ryder team. But as they say, bonds forged through shared trials and such. They will never be friends, but this all felt more akin to normal trash talk instead of the more severe animosity we have seen from the two earlier this year and back into 2020.

I think the level of animosity has come down post-Ryder cup. The two have been interacting with each other completely different after they won for the US team.
