He's one of those that if you didn't know him and you saw him on the street, you'd never imagie that he had the voice of an angel. This man could sing my grocery list and it would bring a tear to my eye.

To sing a song live like this as unbelievable as the album cut, with all its mixing and production, really tells you you’re seeing vocal perfection. Almost no artists can do this.....

Honestly, I Believe when I get to recall this instant classic. It's right up there with You Are My Sunshine and Bohemian Rhapsody for me. Haven't listened for a couple years but it's emotional so yeah. It is definitely all that for me, too.

My husband died in 2008, the opioid use crisis… he was a Local 25 Union Ironworker, was injured on the job, prescribed narcotics, and relapsed after 10 years clean. David was a gifted pianist and played keyboards in many bands. He rebelled against God because of legalistic parents. Three months before he died he rededicated his life to Jesus Christ. Upon listening to this song today, I literally started balling and fell to the floor sobbing David played this on the piano all the time. He was the most amazing man who led me to Christ without even trying. What a perfect example of the fruit of the Spirit. His mother was a praying woman. His father was the Church choir director for 30 years. I remain faithful and praise God for the gifts He has given me. What a beautiful song. Thank you, Brooks and Dunn.

I love that he was able to stand on stage and pronounce his belief of Jesus! Not many performers even have the courage to that anymore and its sad. This was a beautiful raw performance, I love that he raised his hands worshipping the Lord as well. Hallelujah!

I am sorry and my heart breaks knowing the pain you all have had to deal with in any war.... Vietnam.... I am speechless and could never relate to what you went through as the .media hides this and the government. Frankly, all VETS DESERVE THE SAME PRIVILEGES THE POLITICIANS RECEIVE AS THEY SERVED THIS COUNTRY. same healthcare, pay, benefits to families.... if not, then the politicians deserve the same the veterans receive. We are about the same age, and when you've lived this long, and lost so many dear friends and family along the way, the utter depth and truth of these words touch you to the core. I knew an old man like this when I was a kid back in the 40's & 50's. He was very good friend of my grand parents. I would go over to sit on his hay bales in the summer and he would tell me about growing and being a cowboy on ranch. When I hear this song I think about him and I can't help but start to cry.

My son built a little house out in the back yard ...He called it his bar...He'd blast this song out and i'D LOOK OUTSIDE TO TELL HIM TO TURN IT DOWN,,,but I couldn't...He was standing out there singing at the top of his lungs with his arms raised to the Lord....My son was not perfect but he had a heart of gold...I miss him. He passed in 2011.

My mother passed away last year, losing an 8yr battle with Alzheimer's for which I lived and took care of her 6yrs. I not only lost my mother, I lost my best friend. If I weren't a christian, believed in God, and this song......I wouldn't be here today either. I WILL see her again one day, and THAT keeps me going.
