@@Kornelius9726 Adding all that extra stuff, IE meat, vegetables, etc constitutes a Melt rather than a Grilled Cheese. A grilled cheese is a type of melt, but not vice versa a melt is not a grilled cheese.

@@unoriginalegg9899 No, that is still a grilled cheese. The butter (or if you use mayo) is to toast the bread. For a purist, a grilled cheese is just bread (w/ spread to toast it) and cheese.

@@tryna_be_better4549 Except they are made with mayo. Many restaurants use mayo instead of butter, and I much prefer it that way. Mayo is cheaper than butter (it may cost more outright, depending on the brand, but it goes a lot farther) and cooks more evenly.

The question is, what classifies as a grilled cheese? The girls had the best sandwiches but, to me, Trent is the only one to actually follow directions. Is a bologna sandwich still a bologna sandwich if roast beef, corn beef, turkey or ham is added to it? Doesn't adding extra ingredients makes the sandwich something completely different?

I love that they added a fourth, non-competing vote. Even though they all felt super cool, it's nice to have an unbiased voice in the mix as well.

Respectful, constructive opinions and scoring fairly based upon those opinions rather than gaming the scoring to increase their own chances at winning. I like how respectful allaround this young cats are. They were covering their mouths too.
