Normally I don't give any personal information about myself online, but I am Jamaican. This guy did us dirty with the rice. It's rice, not meat. The minute I saw the uncooked scallion, I knew he wasn't going to win. We don't do that. Then when he talked about all those spices IN THE RICE, I knew he was going to lose. A good rice and peas need your coconut milk, salt, and two to 4 spices, I personally would go with the pepper, the pimento, and some thyme or scallion, all fresh. It looked like he put powdered seasoning in there, but I can't confirm, but I think that's what threw off the flavor.
