The gall of this unmarried woman (ring check) to say this with a straight face as if it was some kind of flex, while winning with a super mid dish. If you aren’t going to put in 100% for your boyfriend, don’t get upset when he doesn’t put in 100% either. Shit is wild.

Wish they had a girl from Louisiana. You don't get a lot of variety of seafood in the boil, but you do get some variety in the vegetables and them mfs suck up all the heat so if you like it spicy, you'd love the veggies. Not to mention, the flavor. But I'd love to try the kinda boils these girls have done as far as ingredients and flavors go. I love seeing how different flavors are done in different states.

@@cococanes 12 quarts water 1/3 cup canola oil 4 yellow onions, unpeeled 6 celery stalks, halved crosswise 4 lemons, unpeeled and quartered 4 artichokes (optional) 8 whole garlic cloves 5 bay leaves Zatarain’s Seafood Boil Seasoning 1/2 to 3/4 cup sea salt, or to taste 2 to 3 pounds small red-skinned potatoes, unpeeled 24 live Louisiana blue crabs 6 ears of corn, husked and halved crosswise 6 pounds large shrimp, with heads attached Method of Preparation: Pour the water into a large stockpot. Add the oil, onions, celery, lemons, garlic, bay leaves, Zatarain’s crab boil spice mix and salt and bring to a boil over high heat. Boil for 10 minutes. Add the potatoes and artichokes and boil for 5 minutes. Add the crabs and boil for 15 minutes. Add the corn and boil for 5 minutes. Add the shrimp and boil for 1 minute. Turn off the heat and let the mixture stand for 5 minutes. Using tongs or a skimmer, retrieve the seafood and vegetables from the pot and serve them warm atop several thicknesses of newspaper or large sheets of parchment paper, or transfer to a large serving platter. The seafood can also be served at room temperature or chilled. Use a cracker or a table knife to crack the shells. Serves 8 to 12. Explore more recipes like this with Louisiana’s Culinary Trails. Don’t cook your corn and artichokes in with the pot … get some Ole Bay seasoning and boil them on the stove… don’t over cook the corn. Artichokes will take longer. When you take the corn out add a smidge of vinegar to the water and garlic and cover pot to finish off your artichokes. Then you can add them later seafood boil… not much different from a crawfish boil. I do suggest adding shrimp and mussels later! Always save the juice so you can add it when cooking them separately. Hope this helps.
