Brocante shop in the wine village Nolay
Bonjour!
On this Easter Sunday I am taking you to one of my favorite brocante shops! This is a really nice curated brocante with incredible prices and the most lovely owner. This shop is called "La Boutique de Nolay" and you'll find it in the center of the charming wine village of Nolay.
Please comment which items you liked, would love to see the shop through your eyes!

Everything was beautiful. What a lovely shop, and thank you, Muriel, for letting us tour your beautiful store. I love the crock you bought also.
What a lovely Brocante, I would have definitely picked up the silver plate forks and spoons! Merci ❤️🇫🇷❤️
If I am not mistaken, this is the cutest brocante shop in the whole of France.
Love, love the cherry blossom Limoges and the monogrammed linens, which are like my Swiss-French grandmother had. Lovely shop!
C'est "la caverne d'Ali Baba" cette brocante !! les prix sont vraiment raisonnables. Vous avez fait de belles affaires.
What a lovely shop. Especially liked the shape of the plain stoneware early on and the lovely crock and so many other lovely dishes. The silverware was so pretty.
Early on in your film I saw a print of a mother hugging her daughter. I bought the same print in a Paris flea market 35 years ago and still have it. The artist is Vegee Le Brun who wrote a wonderful book about her life called The Sweetness of Life, a wonderful read. Love your videos, thank you.
My passion as well. Ss a 2 year old zI would scavenge my grandparents trash pile,( no garbage pick up in the 1950s) to make my "Playhouse," beautiful with jars for vases to hold " weeds" as my flowers. My grandparents home was filled with all things from the early 1920s forward. I have one quilt of my great grandmother's and a lithograph that hung over her couch in the living room. When the house was broken upy grandmother retrieved that lithograph, reframed it and when she passed I retrieved it before anyone else grabbed it. It's one of my prized possession. It must be at least 100 years old. The scene is a wet ,rural tree lined road. Old things whether broken or well used tell stories . The Japanese repair broken ceramic with gold. Everything has value to be preserved. Thank you for sharing.🥰🙏💚
There were so many lovely things that I would not know what to purchase for my suitcase. Although I might just donate all my clothes to a worthy cause so I could pack the suitcase full! I really liked the white pitcher, the crock, and the beautiful silver plate.

Simplement magnifique!
Salut, Muriel! Salut, Marloes! What caught my eye were the snowy white linens (I would have bought the set monogrammed with "G") and the white bowl with green flowers at 2:54. But everything is well-selected and well-priced. Wish I were there!
Bonjour! MURIEL, such a lovely shop - thank you for allowing Marloes to share it with us! Prices were so incredibly reasonable! LOVE your little haul - all so beautiful and functional. So many things I loved, too many to mention. I hope we will see Muriel's charming Brocante in some future episodes. Joyeux Paques et a bientot!

The village was so charming. This was so much fun! The way you filmed it I felt like I was shopping with you. So many lovely things. I love the ladle and the crock you picked out. Bonjour Muriel your brocante is wonderful! I dream of visiting someday. From LI , NY. Thank you for taking us along. Your videos are so peaceful , like a little vacation.
I just love shopping for gorgeous vintage items. Love this shop.
I love all of the everyday dishes and there were many things I would love to have. But I’m very in love with the plates with birds on them, I have a weakness for anything with birds.
The blue & white apothecary canisters were to die for! Great shop.
I love most of those beautiful things with patina, especial the textiles, some of the books and most of the silver plated cutlery. We have nothing like that in our Irish Charity Shops, at least hardly ever. What was there was purchased by me!!!

😃 We don’t have many silver in our charity shops either, those kind of things are best found at a proper brocante.
The leather bound books, cream colored crockery, oh what a lovely place! Thanks for letting us come along.
I would have definitely purchased the apothecary jars. Gorgeous! Beautiful shop.
You found such lovely treasures here - Such a sweet brocante! That understated chandelier was beautiful… and so many linens! Muriel - you have a beautiful place! SOMEDAY… I will make it to France to peruse your treasures and bring some home.
Such a beautiful shop! Muriel has a wonderful eye for detail. I liked seeing all of the items and also appreciate the use of papers and fabrics for backdrop. I can see why it is one of your favorite places.
Beautiful shop! I would have been way too naughty! Thank you Muriel for letting us visit!
There are a lot of lovely old and vintage things in that brocante. At 08:48, I love the window treatments...the lace on the top. Thank you and Muriel for sharing!
Muriel’s shop was so peaceful; it would be calming and inspiring to just walk around in it. Thank you for taking us shopping with you. I’m in Ohio in the US. I would choose many items but I like the brass candlesticks especially the one with the saucer; also several muted pictures/art work and that nice off- white oval serving bowel…… to name a few. 🥰
You’re definitely attracted to natural colours, some lovely finds for you. I might’ve been tempted there by a few pitchers for overflowing flowers not beverages. Thankyou.
I liked the small pottery pieces, especially the vase with the ruffled top,the beautiful china and silver. Wish I could go shopping there.
What a lovely shop. I was drawn to a pretty little yellow jug at 6:16! Thanks for the tour.
You've made me fall in love with rustic jugs and crocks. If I had been with you in Muriel's shop, I would have grabbed the white linen napkins, depending on price of course. They feel so lovely and are a wonderful everyday luxury.
What a lovely shop, I would love to go shopping there. I enjoy your videos tremendously, You bring us to a place that is so peaceful and beautiful In all your videos

You seemed to have purchased some of what I liked; the long soup ladle and the crock. My heart stopped when you picked up the art of an Italian home with a lot of mustard yellow. Such a neat place to visit. Thank you for taking us along!
What a beautiful brocante! I would buy blue and white matching dishes and plates. Also wooden utensils.
I love the crock ! A lovely visit to a sweet little shop in a charming village ❤️ thank you ! 🙏💕🌷
Muriel, bonjour! What a lovely shop you have! I would have picked up the silverplated ladle as well. Beautiful!
That is a great shop. So many items I wanted to buy. You made great selections. Thanks for taking us along
The two hanging glass chandeliers at 1:16 - love, love, love.
Muriel's shop is lovely. I love the pieces you purchased.
Loved the shop! So many items I would have loved to touch, turnover, admire and of course bring home! Really like the pieces you bought, especially the oven dish!

Hi Marloes, I loved this video, Muriel has very reasonable prices, I buy brocante in France and sell it in the Netherlands. I love old textiles, Sarreguemines service etc. This summer I will visit all the vide greniers, Emmaus shops and ressourceries again! And mayby the shop in Nolay and the Emmaus in Arnay le Duc!
Linens, pottery, blue and white canisters, and the bird dinnerware!!! Thank you!!! I only wish I could find French goodies here in California!
Couldn't agree with you more! My favorite brocante I've seen thus far!
I loved the flower vases!
Me encantaria ver textiles, repasadores, servilletas, carpetas, manteles, puntillas antiguas, siempre son piezas de cocina, seria divertido ver algo mas! Igualmente todo es hermoso! Gracias!!

I loved the beautiful wine glasses/goblets on the silver tray at the beginning of the video were beautiful, as were the plates with the orange parrots/birds on them. I had an orange parrot, and the plates would have been a nice reminder of him. I also liked the little stone mustard pot with the spoon. I definitely would have purchased that! Thanks for another great video!
Everything is so beautifully displayed. Such a nice shop!
The town is absolutely charming and I really like the shop. She has great visual and it was well displayed. Of the things I saw I would be tempted to buy was the stoneware pitcher with the metallic brown glaze, at abt 8:43 there was a clear wine glass with a ballaster stem, and at about 9:13 there was an on the rocks glass ( or at least I think that’s what it was) in pressed glass that looked like a drum, and at 11:45 a brass candlestick to the left of a coffee grinder. Cool shop! Thanks for taking us along!!
Bonjour. The shop is full of wonderful items.I could see so many items that I'd choose for gifts-if I could bear to part with them! Thank you for filming and thanks to Muriel for allowing us to see her shop. The apothecary jars 2:47 were beautiful, I just loved the Lantern at 9:47. The glass spotted 'vase' at 8:31 caught my eye, wondering it it was originally a celery vase or for flowers?
You have a lovely shop Muriel!
Wonderful video!!!! Thank you for sharing!!! I love all the wooden spoons. My favorite is the little wooden spoon in the small pottery. It was so nice that they allowed You to film.
Love the items in her shop
I WANT TO MOVE THERE==ESP IN SUCH A LOVELY TOWN AND THIS SHOP IS AMAZING TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They also had some nice pictures (by the window).❤❤❤❤😘
My grandmothers name was Muriel! What a beautiful shop, lucky to shop there! Liz
Another gentle stroll around. I would have choosen the same big pot that you did Marloes because it is the same beautiful natural colour scheme you and I have in our houses. Thank you for sharing and a big hello to Muriel all the way from Australia ❤❤
Interesting, I also bought the crock, forks and spoons via your walkthrough. Again, thank you for bringing me along. I enjoyed our outing.

Thank you for the beautiful video. What a lovely shop. About 11 minutes in to the video there were some bowls with Chaffinches on them. My name is Finch. I wish I was there to buy them. I wonder if the lady who owns the shop posts to England? I loved the yellow botanical print at the start too. It’s so lovely to see you living such a wonderful adventure xxx

Yes correct, most shops here don’t have an online shop or presence. I don’t think she ships anything but I can ask if you want? However I know from experience that shipping outside of Europe can be quite expensive.

Ah thank you for being so kind. I would appreciate that. I didn’t think of the expense of Europe postage. Maybe if it’s something she is willing to do, I could find out if it’s too expensive to post. I really appreciate you replying to me.
