I prefer the softer blue color on the left. It looks like it coordinates better with the blue and green that are already on the trim.

My vote is for Drawing Room Blue. It’s bright and makes the other colors pop…it’s more “fresh”! Love your Dad AND his red shoes! He’s fun!!
That green is actually one of my personal favorites in your lovely chateau. :)

I love the green I really think paint all green and choose either wallpaper or paint
I’m going to throw a wrench in the works. I just redecorated my husband’s small home office and he chose a green color very similar to what you have in the room you’re sampling blue paint in. I discovered it’s a great color for an office-it has a quiet energy because it leans warm. Anyway, I think matching the green currently there to paint over the yellow squares is a better idea than painting them blue. Consider painting the moulding around the yellow squares a slightly darker green, or not at all. Perhaps a wall paper change with something that incorporates the blue that way. That can be the fun part of the room and help make the sofa pop.
That white bench with those larger garden pots would look fantastic at your entrance, where you put those much smaller pots, you should get them
Either blue is so much more attractive than the yellow. I ❤ how well they work against the green. What fun!
this is probably long done, but if you considered a soft beige or tan instead of the blue, it would go with the existing wallpaper and still go with blue furniture. saving you $ not having to swap out the wallpaper.
Am not really into the blue/green combo but love your idea of a blue room.. In regards the blue colour choices, I favour the Stiff Blue. BTW - I LOVE the navy couch you bought.
First blue over the yellow is perfect, leave the green and the wall paper for the time being ❤.
A painting of Chloe on that red velvet couch would be fantastic ❤ Thank you for showing another antique store, awesome! I wish I could help you negotiate, try bringing the fun into negotiations, if you still don’t like the price you can always say no. I love both blue’s. Excellent choice on a modern kitchen, you want stuff to be super functional to cook. You’re dad’s gym shoes are awesome 😎
Your parents are amazing and a delight to watch. I love how excited and engaged your dad is. His red shoes were adorable too. Your mom has good taste!

I like the blue on the right. Hat's off to your Dad for being there. I love the kitchen plans. Wow....can't wait to see it come all together.
I love the bright blue. The one on the right. It is a beautiful compliment to that green so, go ahead. If someone says different they're colorblind lol. The brocante shopping OMG. Feel free to film that anytime. I know its hard to see your parents go. I like the kitchen plans!
Incroyable!! The perfect word for the street-length brocante with the endless antiquary crocks, ‘live’ chickens, roosters 🐓 and elegant statuary choices- that little wrought iron bench would look great in your garden 🤩🙌🏼💖

Right? 😀
Stiffkey is a beautiful coastal village in Norfolk England. Prefer the Drawing room blue - and liked your idea of that colour across the room rather than just in the yellow areas. But maybe you can find a wallpaper that can bring together the green and blue colours? Perhaps a Morris design?
Love the wrought iron bench.those pots are beautiful.
I think the Drawing Room Blue is great. Then I would find a floral wallpaper with that color and the green as well. It would be so pretty! The Brocante was fabulous! I could spend hours there. I love the kitchen plans but I think I would want the sink lined up with the window. And where the sink is in the breakfast room, I would add cabinets above for coffee cups, teacups, etc. And you could set up the coffee pot/teapots there next to the sink so water is handy.

I agree a beautiful floral wallpaper with those blue and green colors would make that room exceptional!👍 l agree about the kitchen sink being centered with the window 👍
Nice kitchen plan! If the breakfast room is meant for paying guests, then you wouldn't want to open it up anyway - the cook would distract the guests and vice versa. With this plan you're close enough to hear them if they want something but not in each others' faces. The counters in the breakfast room allow you to put out buffet style food on one and a variety of juices etc on the wet one. You'll need a couple of outlets for coffee makers, crock pots, toaster etc. The only thing I don't love about the kitchen design is that the open shelving looks thin... they would look awesome if they were 1 1/2" to 1 3/4" thick. I'm on Team Drawing Room Blue.
Definitely drawing room blue. It is perfect. Loved the outing to the brocantes. One was very pricy. Chloe is Queen of the Castle. I like the plans for your kitchen and breakfast room. It is always sad watching your folks go. They are both a great help.
My opinion is that the yellow should be painted the same green as the wall, so it’s more cohesive and not so much contrast, which is harder to decorate.
Definitely stiff key blue 💙. The grey mix in it works better. Personally I would have just painted the panels cream temporarily. 😊
Stiff Key Blue! The muted color with the green looks very nice.
Drawing room blue is lovely 💝💝
Stiff key is bold and beautiful lol. Yes the other one is greyed out in keeping with the fireplace but you need a pop on the walks to highlight the beautiful sofa. It will be lovely!
The blue over the yellow with the green panelling-I vote no to both of those blues. I think a dark color is going to feel overwhelming. If you want to keep the green-a shade of the green might work, or the entire room in a lighter blue. Love the blue velvet sofa!!
I like the brighter blue with the green. A nice chinoiserie wallpaper above with the blue and green as part of the pattern would look great.
I like the Blue on the right it looks cleaner/brighter. His Kitchen design is a very modern style.
I love the drawing room blue. Lots of work! Better you than me.
Drawing room blue gets my vote! ❤
If you’re going to stick with the green I’d say paint the yellow in the Drawing Room blue. My preference though would be to paint all the green and the yellow in the Stiffkey Blue and the walls an off white/cream. Not too creamy though don’t want it to be yellow again. X
Like the blue on the left. Glad you are changing out yellow. 😊❤

What an amazing Garden Brocante!! Amazing items of rod iron and metal kettles ornamental garden decor. Very interesting!!!
Definitely the bright blue, in fact I’d paint the whole room, including the ceiling I that color. If you can’t have a little drama in your chateau, it’s not worth having!!
I think the kitchen design is lovely and practical. It’s good to have another sink for hand washing, cleaning produce, filling glasses, etc. and separate from the bustle of the kitchen. Re the dish and other storage, it appears rather sterile. I really loved your initial idea to install a large, traditional and beautiful French furniture cabinet. I think you need some warmth in that room in addition to the table and chairs. Id also consider making the cabinet with sink some color other than white. I’d consider that the guests will be moving from rooms that are elegantly and suitably decorated in a French style and then walking into a room that has modern cabinets and cold tile floors can be jolting.

The color of the cabinets could help a lot with the sterile look. The mock ups are not in color.
Definitely the brighter blue.❤️
Oooo that drawing room blue is SO nice. The brighter blue will work for just doing the yellow squares but down the line if you do all blue I would definitely remember that deawing room one.
Aww the brocante was amazing it’s the best I’ve ever seen on any vlog 😮 the blue on the right brighter by far but gold edges lovely
Drawing Room blue looks beautiful😍
Love the one on the right!!! it's beautiful, not dull
If you’re a fan of daring color combinations (as you seem to be), deep blue can look great along with green. To let this combination really shine, it’s wise to not overdo either color. Be sure to include plenty of white or other pale neutrals in the palette. I always recommend use of the “color wheel” which is a place to start for judging colors, one with the other. Your choice is not a combo I’d use in a home such as yours (a bit avante-garde for my tastes), but it’s your house. Hope it works out for you.
Love the kitchen plans!! Hoping you can find some cabinetry that has a period feel to go with the rest of the chateau!

I agree. The kitchen cabinets look 👀 too modern. Floor plan is excellent. I like both blues. The one on the left has better hues to match the fire place. But, if you are going to change the room to a more blues and less green, then the one on the right “fun one” would work.
I think the blue on the right is the better value to go with the existing green. It’s a good suggestion to to paint the yellow panels blue and keep the existing green. I think it would have a cool feeling in the summer months, and the sofa would look great. The kitchen plans look great, you are so smart to just go with it. You don’t wanna overthink it too much, it will take forever. It’s going to be a very workable kitchen.
The softer blue, on the left, blends so nicely with the green undertones. That would be my pick. I look forward to seeing what you choose & what you do on the walls where the wallpaper is.
Love what you've done so far the Grand Salon looks gorgeous.. walls & furniture 😍 As for the blues.. im votin for the 'vibrant /royal' blue.. it sits well with the bold blue sofa! oh & btw your parents are so cool... & dapper! 💕💖😊
The chickens in the sale yard killed me! lol.
Lovely tulips 🌷 and intro, and hoping your parents can visit again soon. Love these brocante treks! 🤗🌷💖
Paint the WHOLE room Stiff Key Blue. All the walls and all the paneling. It would be gorgeous.

Hello Catherine, how are you doing and how is the weather over there ?
Nope I'm for Cream and green if anything ... sage and cream nice ... 😋 once you scrap blue of tiles try some nail polish remover for the little bits 💙
That Brocante was crazy wow! What’s with all those roosters? I think you should get the white bench, the mouse too because you liked it, put him in a garden somewhere. The planters also will look great in front of the chateau as long as the scale is good. The kitchen will be so pretty , so happy for you. With the stove you chose maybe a different vent hood, something longer more rectangular, with a rod for a pots . So funny I bought the sample can of Stiffkey blue ( LI,NY) to paint a bathroom vanity in my sons house ,it’s a really nice blue. Because you asked, the fireplace stone is stunning, I would definitely use that as a focal point , personally I would paint all the green the Stiffkey blue. Then a lighter blue with grey undertones on the wall or a wallpaper ( William Morris style) I’m sure you’ll do a wonderful job. Very exciting
French Empire desk with matching period chair 🪑, yeah I like too, great taste.🥰
❤the bright blue!
I prefer the gray blue. Not sure I'd have even gone blue with that shade of green, but I do understand that not painting the green out just yet make perfect sense.

Hello Norma, how are you doing and how is the weather over there ?
Sheilagh is super cool 😂 ”Aaaah”
The bright blue for sure 😊
I actually like the green. I'd paint the yellow a cream. It will blend in with the wallpaper then too. In the future you can repaint the whole room. You can still get you blue in with the furniture. If you have a couple of things with the green and blue in the them it will help the room work
i like the softer Blue on the left Side. It's more calming...
Bright blue for me! And maybe some cool wallpaper that blends the two colors? And I'm the same way - too fast for my own good sometimes...lol.
I would paint the ENTIRE interior Ralph Lauren chalk white...it will look fresh, bright and white hides a ton of imperfections, looks perfect for displaying art.
Drawing room blue!!👍🏻
Loved the shopping! Great stuff. My preference is the blue on the left, the lighter of the two. Enjoy
I rather like the drawing room blue - a bit bright for some but I think it is fun without being garish. 😊
If only I had an unlimited budget! There are such fun pieces at the Brochante!

An unlimited budget would be amazing! 🤩
I personally would choose a deep Teal blue/green, there would be a nice coordination with the green paneling
As the green is not bright, I think the darker blue is a better foil for it. I like how sleek the kitchen is going to look.
I like the bright blue, too.

Stiff Key Blue is gorgeous 🤩
My choice (drawing room blue), over walls to,eventually, with gold trim on paneling and doors.Kitchen plan looks good, an old fashion servery could be handy on the wall separating the back to back bench tops, between kitchen and breakfast room. Keep enjoying your beautiful chateau, best wishes from Australia xx
I would have to find the wallpaper first and then find the paint….of the 2 blues I like the one on the right - the brighter one….love love the green in that room…thanks for taking us on this adventure with you❣️❤️❤️❤️
Bright blue is like a jewel.
It's exciting watching your progress. Both blues look fun, but could be overwhelming on the walls. I'd first paint the panels and live with it a while. I'd also put the red couch facing the fireplace, and the two chairs on the left for balance. The gold couch could then back up to it, for a vignette facing the windows. As for the kitchen, I agree with the others that the cabinet style is too modern. The floor plan is good but you would want a door to the breakfast room, so you close it off. And you could probably keep the current tile floor, which would keep your cost down.
I love that brighter blue so much!

Hello Pretty, how are you doing and how is the weather over there ?
Drawing room blue. 100%. Goes better with the couch as well.
Definitely the bright blue.
I like the Drawing Room blue. The kitchen will be phenomenal!! It’s always hard to say goodbye. I’ve done it too many times through the years.
The blue on the left is better I think. Maybe try a section behind the sofa? The chairs in the red area need to be pulled back a bit and the piece against the wall could go behind one of the sofas?
The green velvet chairs are nice and price is ok. Most of the inventory is a bit pricey. Offer 800.00 for the sideboard. Quite frankly, I would paint the panels a softer shade of green that will compliment the green trim. Ditch the wallpaper and replace with another classic paper or just paint the walls. Liking your new kitchen layout.
Drawing room blue. I really like that color.
I really enjoyed the video. That shop with all the statues and iron gates… just wow! I would love to explore it! Your dad and step mom must have been a huge help to you while they were there. The kitchen plan looks very practical. I know a lot of people think you should go more “old school French”, sure that would be pretty but you have to weigh all the options, don’t you? I think that you need some larger sized soft furnishings in your large salon instead of all the small chairs and couches. Of course I really have no idea how big the room is… it must be very daunting to furnish such a large home and get the look you are going for. I’m so indecisive when it comes to my house. I have been in this house for almost 4 years and still have no drapes up(have blinds), no art on the walls no decor just nothing! I do have a great couch😊 If I had a house like yours I know it would be so empty😂

I figure the furniture will find me in time...☺️
Great vlogs. thank you! Not convinced about the blue colors with the existing green. Although blue is my favorite color, I think with keeping the kind of yellowish green, all panels need either to be fully painted or maybe you paint parts of it a dark grey in keeping with the fireplace. Good luck!🍀
The blue on the right -on a screen- looks best against against the current yellow wall paper. It will be the clearest blue if you decide to do the whole room blue as well as taking the exterior into account- looking out to the lovely grounds. Bon chance on which ever you decide is best for your eye. One last point, the ‘grand salon’ with the furniture groupings in red and gold. The patterned red couch framing the fireplace, consider placing the gold couch back to back with it instead of against the wall. Then place your chairs, a small table with light on it (using a handy wall plug) where the couch was. That will give the room the heaviest mass in the center of the room, near the fireplace is, and the eye goes to already. Best wishes on your adventure, wish I could go ‘bracanting’ with you. 25:29

Hello Patti, how are you doing and how is the weather over there ?
I love it when you go shopping!!!....would love to be there with you, I would want to buy everything in sight 😂 I think you need the tall sexy woman statue standing at your driveway!!😂😂😂😂 that would be a conversation piece!!! Your furniture you have bought so far is beautiful!! Love every piece and yes she does look like a little princess on that couch❤❤ I think my choice on the blue paint would be the second one...the fun one lol. I do like your kitchen plans but maybe incorporate some of the old elements into it, maybe on the cabment doors or some trim work...like whats throughout the house. It's such a change from your other rooms and the history of your home....almost looks kinda "out of place" in your home. 😊

Soft blue definitely!
The brighter Drawing Room Blue in the small square, 100%. The other blue is a dull, it dies next to the green. However, the wallpaper is also dull, so, if you’re keeping the wallpaper for a while maybe opt for a soft grey instead of the blue.

Yes, yes, paint the whole room stiff key blue. At least all of the green paint blue, but I think the whole room blue with brass sconces and accents will be elegant and make a statement. Sad to see your parents leave, as it seemed like you were having a lot of fun with them. The kitchen layout is great and super functional. So very exciting. Oh my goodness those brocantes were very dangerous. I saw way too many things I loved! xx
I just love to watch you, with your new projects!!!
The left blue is my preference. It has a bit of grey undertone to it and will age better.
definitely the softer gray blue....goes better with the green and the fireplace...and complements the sofa instead of being too matchy matchy...you could even do the walls above it in a modern chinoiserie or toile wall paper w a blue motif, and some pretty dusty gray velvet drapes....(someday). ;)
