Who else is jealous of Laura's goodwill. Mine aren't even close to them, in quality and price's. I'm happy for you Laura don't get me wrong. But I wish they all were awesome as well. Love your shopping together too. It was a great idea Jesse.

I’m enjoying very much your series going to all Goodwills in the area. I have to say the evolution of Jesse has been remarkable. He adds a new dimension to your thrifting. Now that he’s soooo comfortable on camera his true personality is shinning through. Include Jesse like you have been occasionally as it is a pleasant surprise and adds a spin on your thrifting style. It’s easy to see why you two are together - 2 peas in a pod! lol
I have been selling online since 1999 and can honestly say I have learned more from you than I have in the past almost 25 years. Thank you so much for your insights.

Laura, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to express my heartfelt appreciation for the joy and positivity you bring into my life through your content. Unfortunately, I must share some difficult news-I'm currently navigating a challenging journey as my partner battles cancer. This has understandably shifted my focus to being present and finding solace in faith during this time. I was so eager when you announced your flea market and joining one of your trips, as I had been preparing throughout the year with thrifted items for a show. However, amidst these unforeseen circumstances, I find myself feeling scared and alone, especially since my family is far away. Despite these challenges, I want you to know how genuinely happy and proud I am for you and Jesse. Your achievements and adventures inspire me greatly. Your videos I never miss, you have become a comforting presence, almost like friends. If you could spare a moment to send positive thoughts or prayers my way, I would deeply appreciate it. Your kindness and support mean a lot during this difficult time. Thank you for teaching me so much. Susan 🙋🏻♀️🥺🥺🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️🌹

I love it when Jesse shops with you. He’s a lot of fun.
The ash tray with the picture of Fable Cottage ( 18:26 )is a tourist attraction that used to be in Victoria BC and was purchased by a guy who moved it to Denman island as a private residence.
Sponge holder for the frog. My mom and ALLLLLLL her ceramic friends made these. They were on the kitchen sinks of EVERYONE I knew in the mid 70's to mid 80's
I love when Jesse goes along. You 2 compliment each other so well. Also the series of all GWs in your area is amazing

Back when I was young, brozing the first baby shoes was a thing to do. It was the early 50’s.

Fable Cottage was a private home in Victoria, BC, Canada that was turned into a tourist attraction after the owners received so much attention from passers by. It was on a waterfront property looking across to San Juan Island. When I was 14 I worked as a tour guide there. The home was later floated up the island and now resides on Denman Island, a little north east of Vancouver Island. A very cool place indeed!!
Team Jesse on the froggy - Yes I've seen it as a sponge or SOS pad holder :-] Thriving in wet environments. 🐸

The glass flower frog like that one actually sat in the top of a vase and the stems went through to the water. That’s why there’s a rim or lip on it. The work in the bottom, too. Loving your 50 visits!

Absolutely love this series I love when Jesse joins you. Cannot wait for the next Episode
I’m so glad I found your channel. I LOVE watching.
The frog is a scrubby holder, fairly common on kitchen sinks in the 80s. The amazing pottery tray with red dots looks Raku fired
The dynamic duo…I love the treasures you both find but it makes it so much fun watching you both interact. The car rides are so fun to watch.
We still watch Bob Ross! I was coming home from work super stressed part of last year. Hubby would find a Bob Ross episode on KZread or Tubi and we would unwind with Bob before bed..... happy little trees!
Jesse is so sweet, helpful, some great knowledge real and funny) and Laura this 71 year old great grandma says he is HOT.
At first, I was kind of "meh" about the matching lamps you got, but seeing them with those lampshades made me love them!
I love it when Jesse go jaunting through the Goodwill stores with you.
Laura and Jesse, I am so o o enjoying watching you thrift the Goodwills together! There is so much love and expertise between you! I have only one regret. At the very beginning of Episode 6, in the first Goodwill, you picked up a white ceramic? or clay? bowl that remined me immediately of an old Greek or Roman piller. It has just the right color and patina. I felt an immediate attraction and definite connection to it. Alas! You put it back on the shelf! I can't get it out of my mind and so I am writing to ask if anyone else felt immediately drawn to it, as I did? God bless you both always!
Your idea to to visit every store was spot on. Your idea to visit a different store everyday at open is spot on. I have spent 30+ years reselling. The 1st lesson in buying for resell is to learn your market. I discovered Ealy on that a 30 min earlier start to my day sourcing resulted in much more purchasing opportunities. Learning what to buy from each store is equally important.
I love the black, white, and red platter.....it's a beauty
L and J shopping trips are the best! You guys together doubles the fun👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻😁
Definitely a sponge holder, that frog! I’ve sold several and I keep one in my kitchen by my sink :D he works good for the SOS pads and sponges if I shove them in longways 😅 I even have one in my booth right now!
Another Goodwill video. I'm really enjoying this series. ❤
I was feeling a bit sad that the multi-Goodwill adventure was coming to a close ... so I like to hear that you might do a variation of it...make it SOON, Laura! And, yesl, your videos always are a treat!🤩
Blue really suits you Laura, it makes your pretty blue eyes pop.
I love watching you and Jesse shop together. I’m jealous because my significant other doesn’t see the value of thrifting. I’m collecting things here and there to start an eBay store. I know and my family tell me I would be successful doing with what I buy. They try to buy stuff from me but the heart that I have I just give it to them. I would rather see someone happy than the money. I always thrift for gifts instead of buying new and everyone loves the idea of what it is worth and not that I thrift it. I tell everyone I would rather have a gift from goodwill or a yard sale than new.
That vase you casually moved aside to look at that cool candle was gorgeous!!!
The frog held the little dishwasher nylon scrubber for doing dishes. It's an old ceramic mold that many kids made in school or make from a ceramic shop when they were still around.
Love❤ that you mention aphantasia. Jealous of the comradely the two of you have!!!

Frog is definitely a holder for the dish scrubber on a handle at Grandma's kitchen sink during the '80's. And I love that aqua fish dish. Always a good time thrifting with y'all!
I use a glass flower frog to hold pens/pencils on my desk.
Jesse is correct about the frog. I thinks its wonderful how you ywo love thrifting together. Jesse she may say all that about you being her driver and stuff, but lets face it, bottom line is she just loves being with you. Right Laura ❤?
From what I understand, you stick florist's clay in the holes of the frog, THEN you stick the flowers in.
@rikkemeek1506

You don't need clay when you use a flower frog.
It is a scrubbie holder, I made those in seventies and early eighties.
Jesse was on fire today! Full of vintage knowledge! Loved the 'gold' shelf with the 80's lamps. Sushi Platter although red, white & black was 'gold' too. Fun & interesting thrift! 🇨🇦🍁
Definitely the scrubby holder. Those were very popular in the 70’s.
Bob Ross statues were sold as Chia Pets for Christmas. You would put the seeds on his head a grow a green afro. They were hilarious!!!😄😁😂
Sponge holder..holds the little scrubbie ones.
Yes 80's lamps however totally beautiful. Score on half off tag!!
Kitchen sponge holder, a simple project to make at a ceramic shop. They use to glue fake eye lashes on them too
I have one of those frogs that my mom made in ceramics class in the seventies. It is on my counter in the kitchen. It does hold a scrubby. Jesse gets this one! lol
Yes, 70's sponge, scrubbie, SOS pad holder. My aunt made many in ceramics class!!
Our SOS pads sat in this in our kitchen back in the 1960s😊
Jesse is correct about the frog, in the 70’s everyone made one at ceramic shops to put their scrubber in beside the sink. Jesse knows stuff as he also taught you about the baby shoes today.
The open mouth frog is definitely a holder for SOS pads and such.
The white vase reminds me of some kaiser porcelain that I had. I toured the factory and bought some 30 years ago.
A potter might be able to fix your new bowl with handle. Grind down the chips on the spout, reglaze and refire. Would be interesting.
I so love y'all's back and forth. So entertaining. Want a pic with Jesse drinking from his bowl.

The clear flower frog doesn’t go at the bottom of a vase. The rim has to stand on the vase rim so the flower stems are steadier. It is hard though to find a vase with the exact fit …
I hope I find a Lisa Larson cat when I go to Goodwill. I enjoy watching your channel Laura 👍🏻
Blue Heron, native to PNW my favorite bird.
It's a sponge holder. My grandma had one. I thrifted one a while ago. Reminded me of my grandma. She used hers as a candy dish for whenever I came over. I would of got it and the cat.
Wooden vases are a big thing here in North Carolina And it's possible the crack was already in there when they turned it. We see them with test tubes inside them to hold a flower and a tiny bit of water. I have started picking them up for my 3 fireplaces here. And some have cracks. We have a well known wood turner here in town and he sells them with cracks. I understand some are made from old fenceposts that go back 100 years or more. I don't pass them by.
The fish plates are individual casserole dishes. My mom would use them in the 70s
Fable Cottage (glass ashtray) was a tourist attraction in Victoria, British Columbia. We had birthday parties there once in a while as kids in the 70’s; it doesn’t exist anymore. 🙂

SOS holder! I had one back in the 80’s. So cute!! Frogs like to be around water…makes sense 😊
