Week in my life in the French countryside
Bonjour,
I've been wrecking my brain over a title for this video... :) I am just taking you along for a week or more gardening, a super quick visit to the goodwill store and having a friend over to help with the garden. Nothing special but a very productive week for me! The garden is all prepared to be gorgeous and glorious this summer!

I went back two days later and it was sold. It didn’t belong in my home else I wouldn’t have hesitated. It was gorgeous and I’m sure is being gorgeous in someone else’s home now!

THIS IS YOUR KIND OF VIDEO I LOVE BEST! Simple. Pictures of the country. Slow music. It’s something I can turn my brain off and just sink into watching you live. I loved watching you create the gardens. I love watching your trees as they bud out each season. I love watching your house evolve… Slowly… But surely. I love listening to your soothing voice. I’m not too into the emaus videos because of the chaos of the store makes me feel overstimulated. You’re a really good -and inspiring- cook, and I love watching you prepare meals. But I can only watch about one recipe per video, It gets a bit boring if it is too much. Let me praise and encourage you to make more of the simple scenes. The cows. Your daily process. Your kitty cat! Pictures of the small towns. Leisurely going through your day. I’ve heard you mention that you worry these kind of videos are boring before… But I guarantee you, they are not! Everybody needs to take a break from their life! You give us that opportunity. Thank you so much my sister. Love you!❤

Thank you so much! So relate to going to stores being overwhelming, at least it is to me. But on the other hand I love treasure hunting! I think more of the coming videos will be like this one as in these busy spring and summer months most of my time is spent tending to the house and garden, getting our cabin and cottage ready, welcoming guests and preparing meals so I guess you’ll love that! And Tigrette usually follows me around everywhere around the house so she’ll make her appearance often enough 🐈 ❤️😄

Loved how the cows ran up to either greet you or to see what you were up to. Can't wait to see what you do with the cook's cottage. I won't be surprised if it's an even bigger hit with guests. It's authentic.

Love how your garden is taking shape with the help of friends, family and Tigret. Whenever i am my garden and dig a hole, my cats will often sit and pee in it as though i dug it just for them 😂. Loving your terracotta pots - such a beautiful sense of french countryside. Enjoy your beautiful spring garden.❤

What a beautiful video (I especially like the part with the field of yellow flowers - it reminded me of my old home in the countryside with my horses in the yellow field. You and your friend did an amazing job on your garden. Cannot wait for your upcoming cookbook. For any new followers, she is an amazing cook and usually shares amazing recipes on her channel.

I just love this area of France. It has 3? seasons and is much milder than Wisconsin. Your homes and countryside are so appealing. Unfortunately my french stinks...as my sweet prof called it years ago: mon franchise batard. So...enjoy the beauty of your homeland...and thanks for sharing with us. Regards from Wisconsin 🐄

We officially have winters but they seem to be less freezing and there hardly ever is snow. I do appreciate having a real fall though and then having darker winters which make me long for longer days and then when spring comes and all the trees blossom and flowers start to bloom it is such a treat!

The brown ones are “Limousine” and the white ones “Charolaise”.

Pourquoi est-ce que je regarde cela ? je la connais par coeur la campagne française. Enfin, cette vidéo détend. N'hésitez pas à filmer aussi les villages pittoresques de Bourgogne : Noyers sur Serein etc... Tiens, cela me donne envie d'en visiter à nouveau cet été. A moins que je retourne dans le Sud-Ouest. C'est magnifique aussi le Sud-Ouest, la vallée de la Vézère etc.

:) Personellement je trouve la France d'une richesse énorme. A 2 heures de route je me trouve dans un paysage complètement différent. J'adore. Il y a tant de beauté à découvrir sans quitter le pays. Je ne connais pas Noyers sur Serein, je vois que c'est à 75 minutes d'ici. Merci pour la suggestion, je l'ajoute à ma liste!

@@FrenchCountryLife Bonjour, merci pour votre réponse. J'ai un guide sur les villages de France et et je m'y fie. Je vis en Lorraine et la Bourgogne n'est pas bien loin. J'y vais souvent. Le village de Bourgogne que j'ai préféré jusqu'à présent est Semur-En-Auxois. Je n'oublie pas Vezelay bien sûr. Etes-vous allée à Guédelon ?

Schitterend schilderij voor 10 euro. Marloes, kun je het niet gewoon kopen en dan wat passende accessoires erbij zetten qua kleur? Ik denk aan kaarsen in de kleur van een van de bloemen. Of 3 verschillende kleuren kaarsen voor een ton sur ton effect? En als het niet lukt, neem ik hem zo van je over 🙂

@@babitaram2327 de prijzen staan op de pagina van de cabin en de pagina van de cottage en boeken gaat via email. We staan ook op airbnb maar dan komen de kosten voor airbnb erbij en is de prijs per nacht hoger. Maar daar kun je wel de up to date beschikbaarheid zien. Je kunt me een mail sturen op bonjour@lasourcebourgogne.fr dan kijken we er samen naar?
